I dont know when anandi took help from gehna and sandhya and others.

Strange but the sensible Bhairon Singh never thought of doing anything for the village and society till a little girl came along.

But the story so far has shown that anandi cannot do anything on her own without a support. People are talking about her becoming a sarpanch and starting a school. At that time there was Bhairo with her. And I think he was a male.

Becoming a Sarpanch and starting a school/ She did of her own. She initiated, she started. She started the school under the tree. Had she asked Bhairon's help , he would have built a school for his DIL the way he did Hospital for Jagya.

But no, of her own she started it under the tree, going every door to door.

Her helping nature, thinking for the betterment of Jaitsar made the villagers propose her name, not because she is BH beendni. If it had been for BH beendni Gehna would have made a better candidate.

She initiated the things because she had the willingness, that is important, not the money.She didnt ask help from Bhairon,

Bhairon came forward because he realised what she is doing is the right thing to do. But its not that she needed male support.

That is very demeaning to say

Bhairo was as useless as other fathers who made child marriage of their children.

He was happy to do child marriage of his two kids and had no problem if his daughter sat at home doing nothing with her life until the time came for her guana.

He never thoughtof opening a school for girls until his bahu decided to open school.

He never thought of educating adults or thought of improving literacy levels in his village

What stopped him from doing all these things  before Anandi came into their lives? 

Bhairon Singh never did any of these things because of his mother 

Anandiwent against Dsa to do all these things.

Bhairon Singh knew that the girl is doing something special with her life by trying to do all these things so he supported her. 

As for Anandi becoming Sarpanch it is the villagers who asked Bhairon Singh to convince Anandi to take up the position.

She didnot become sarpanch because of Bhairon Singh but because of the villagers and their love and respect for her.

Bhairo bought books for her and asked her to become a doctor. But when anandi chose to become a teacher instead, he gave his full support to her and encouraged her to follow her heart.

Bhairon wanted her to become a doctor. There was a scene where Anandi was sitting on a rock looking at jaitsar village and told to herself "mujhe mera maqsad mil gaya hai. maine soh liya mujhe keya karna hai"

Then she came back home and told what she want to do , she want to educate the girls.

It is she who decided, It is she who started. They were just there to see how nicely in a composed way she started rebuilding her life.

She told to Shiv also, main Jaitsar me sama jana chahti hoon

Without his support, anandi would have been nothing.

I have never seen Bhairon went with her door to door to start the school. When she is doing the right thing what will Bhairon do ? Say No?

 Infact she helped them when their son kicked them to take charge of the hospital. She went to Mumbai to purchase hospital equipments with Lal Singh

Nobody is saying that Bhairon did not help her. He never saw her as a DILbut always saw her as a daughter.

No one can support unless person willing to do that thing if anandi herselfd oes not have any desire to start a school how can anyone support her .sandhya give anandi moral support
