Dance Pe Chance
It seems very simple; take a chance on dance. Dance, here, can be symbolic for so many things, a metaphor for so many things. I believe this song was used as it was very "contest" like. But, at the same time, it has the flexibility to fit so many aspects of Twinkle and Kunj's relationship. For example, just their feelings for each other; both are so unsure about them, both are nervous about each other hence they need to just take a chance. It can also stand for just love itself. Both Twinkle and Kunj have had rather unpleasant experiences with love with Yuvraaj and Anisha/Alisha. As the recap shows, Twinkle is praying about their relationship...perhaps it is due to her unsureness of feelings or fear of love.
Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi
It's rather obvious- God has made this pair. People often throw that around all the time ("You're a match made in heaven", for instance) but it may not always be true. I've seen people say that to couples who have similar preferences and it stupefies me. Saying God made your pair because you both like pizza with pineapples...*face palm*. Anyways, I'm not sure if this is because I'm religious or what, but connecting God to something makes it more scared and holy. So, to say God had actually made two people for each other is a big proclamation and usually, I'm against such statements. However, Kunj and Twinkle deserve that. They are an extremely well suited couple. One of the biggest things I've been told by my Mom tells me is that you don't enter marriage wanting to change the person. I think one of the biggest aspect of their relationship is that they appreciate each other for who they are. They have not tried to change each other be it Twinkle's immaturity (at times), impulsivity. Kunj has always supported her regardless of his personal opinion on her choices; it's a us versus world for them and that kind of loyalty can be rare. Other than that is the level of commitment they have toward's each other- neither is going anywhere without the other. Kunj has expressed this many times and so has Twinkle (bomb scene in Oct when Ishaan was lost). I've said this so many times I might be a broken record but their personalities are differing yet complementary. Twinkle brings her big heart, desire to help others, carefree nature, loyalty to the marriage while Kunj brings support, concern, etc. So, as the performance and song suggest they truly are a match made by God.
Speaking of which, I don't do this often as I believe the TEI team has done excellent with picking songs but the Tujh Main Rab Dikhta Hai Female version is PERFECT for Twinkle.
Na Kuch Poocha
You Didn't Ask Anything
Na Kuch Maanga
You Didn't Ask For Anything
Tune Dil Se Diya Jo Diya
Whatever You Gave, You Gave From Your Heart
Tu Hi Dhoop Tu Hi Chaaon
You're The Warmth, You're The Shade
Tu Hi Apna Paraya
You're My Own And A Stranger
Aur Kuch Na Janoon Main, Bas Itna Hi Janoon
I May Not Know Much But This I Do Know
Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai
I See God In You
Yaara Main Kya Karoon
My Love, what should i do?
Sajde Sar Jhukta Hai
I Bow My Head Before You
Yaara Main Kya Karoon
My Love, what should i do?
Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai
I See God In You
Yaara Main Kya Karoon
My Love, what should i do?
