Ch1.
At last,everything ended. The torture,the course of pain,shares of staying away from each other due to some promises,ended. Finally,they were about to start their life anew,but,something kept them apart,still now.
Badi Ranimaa,Raageshwari and Kunwar Chachaji-Kunwar Rani and Lakshyaraj were arrested on attempting to murder Rana Indravadhan and causing problems to the royal family. Royal amenities were snatched from Kunwar Chachaji-Kunwar Rani and Lakshyaraj and Badi Ranimaa. They were sent off to a faraway jail where they will spend their rest of their lives till death. The news of Swarna being forced to sleep with Laakhan also came out. Everyone was shocked after hearing about it. After much ado,Swarna got divorced from Lakshyaraj.During this course of time,Rana Indravadhan came to know about the biggest secret that could have destroyed his existence. He was shattered after knowing about his real identity,but,as time went by,he came used to it.
Slowly and steadily,everything came to normal pace. Still,there was a hesistancy between Ranaji and Gayatri.Ranaji hated himself for hurting his Gayatri beyond repair,and,Gayatri could never forget those harsh words that Ranaji spoke to her.
Though she got back all her rights,but,still,she didn't get the rights of a wife. This mere thought breaks her heart into zillion pieces,which,by now,has become used to these heartbreaks. After all,she is also a human;she also has a heart.
Rana Indravadhan couldn't tolerate this ignorance. He got up from his chair and walked towards Gayatri's chamber with long strides. When he entered,what he saw,broke his heart. Gayatri was packing up her clothes to leave the Palace. He saw Swarna trying to pacify her,but,she failed. He saw his mother when she tried to cool down Gayatri's pain and anger,but,alas! She also failed..
Gayatri sensed his presence. As she turned,Ranaji noticed the devoid of emotions in her face. The pink cheeks,the milky white smile,the twinkling eyes.. Everything was missing. Ranaji felt that Gayatri's life has become a canvas without bright colours. Now,it bears only monochrome colours like black and white.
Ranaji cursed himself for all the pain and hurt he inflicted upon her. Swarna came towards him and asked him to stop her. He obliged and asked everyone to leave.
Now,it was only Gayatri and Indravadhan,alone in that room. Gayatri felt a little bit of happy,that,he will stop her.
''Aap kahaan jarahi hai,Rani Gayatri?''

''Humne aapse kuch pucha hai,Rani Gayatri? Jawab dijiye.''

That was it.. It broke his tolerance level. He went her,grabbed her arms tightly and pinned her to the nearest well. Gayatri could see the pain and anger in his eyes.
''Yeh sab kya hai,Rani Gayatri? Aap humare parshn ka jawaab kyun nahi derahi hai?''
''Aapke har prashn ka jawaab dena main uchit nahi samajti.. Aur,waise bhi.. Samajdar ko ek ishara hi kaafi hota hai.'' she replied.
This reply made his anger rise up a notch higher. He made his grip on her arms a bit tighter. She felt the pain,but,didnt hiss to let it out.
''Haath chhoriye humara,Ranaji.''
''Nahi chhorenge hum.. Aap humari patni hai.''
''Maine kaha haath chhoriye mera.. Battameezi kar rahe hai aap mere saath.. Aur,abhi kya kaha aapne mujhe?? Patni aur aapki?? Humare beech pati aur patni ka rishta ussi din tooth gaya tha jab aapne mujhe uss raat aapke kamre mein se dhakke maarke nikal diye thhe,uss Raageshwari keliye. Ab main bas naam keliye Rani Gayatri Devi hoon.. Mera patni honeka astitva aapne torh diya. Aap humse humari zindagi maang lete,hum aapko de dete..par,aapne toh humse humara guroor hi cheen liya..'' she replied with tears and anger.
Silence resonated in that room. Their eyes' spoke volumes. Ranaji's hold became loose.
''Yeh kya kardiya,Indravadhan?'' his mind told him.
''Aap mujhe abhi kis haq se rok rahe hai,jab main aapki patni nahi thehri.. Jab maine Raageshwari ki sacchai aapke saamne boli,aapne vishwas nahi kiya. Jab maine aapko saboot dikhayi,phir bhi aapne vishwas nahi kiya. Main majboor thi kyunki aapki jaan daav pe thha. Maine kitni baar aapo samjhaane ki koshish ki,ki,Raageshwari aapse badla lene keliye yeh shaadi kar rahi hai,tab aapne asaani se kehdia ki ''aap hi zimmedar hai humai toote rishtey ki,Gayatri.'' jab,sab sach saamne aaya,tab aapko vishwas hua ki main galat nahi thhi.. Itne saare dard sehn karte karte,ar dard sehn karne ki shakti nahi hai mujhpe. Apne sabit kardia ki,ek sadharan larki kabhi bhi sahi mayno mein ek raja ki ardhangini nahi bansakti.Main bhi ek insaan hu.. Mera bhi ek dil hai.Yeh kambakht dil ko kaise samjhau ki aapse woh nafraat na kare. (wiping her tears) (shouts and call her servant) Shyamlal,yeh samaan bagi mein rakhwa dijiye.'' Gayatri replies,venting her angst and pain out.She starts leaving.
''Gayatri,humein maaf kardijiye,please. Aap mat jaiye.''
