Chapter 10:
Sita stirred in her sleep...a peaceful expression gracing her beautiful face as she a relaxing sensation in her hair...she realised it were fingers...
She slowly opened her eyes only to meet his loving gaze...
Sita blushed a perfect pink as she realised it were his fingers that were caressing her hair as gently as possible. ...
She always felt herself lucky to get his pure love...she marvelled at his gentleness...his touches & talks both so very gentle and loving...
His touch was never rough or demanding. ...nor forcing...
Shaking out of her thoughts she smiled at him...
R: kaisi rahi nidra...Sitae?
He questioned lovingly...
S: jab aap saath hai swaami...sab kuch mangalmay hi hota hai...
She replied with a smile and got up...
S: agya dijiye swaami...main snaan kar aati hoon...
Ram nodded with a smile and looked at the retreating figure of his wife...
Removing the silk bag agsin he smiles at it...

Today his Sita looked absolutely stunning in a stunning White and Red ghaaghra laden with gold...Ram thought to himself. ...
She was devoid of jewellery and her hair were wet...
He watched her smile at him...looking all handsome in his cream dhoti matched with a red angvadstra (utariya)...
He watched her lovingly as she wore her jewellery. ...her necklaces,nose ring & earings and finally the choodamani followed by the head ornament ...after filling her parting with sindoor...blushing while doing so...
He finally stopped observing her beauty and went upto her...
R: Sitae...ek shan!
He said as she was about to wear her bangles...
He bought out the bag and leaned closer to her from behind...
Sita closed her eyes as she felt sone movement in her hair...that was neatly tied up at the back...
She gasped as he pushed a string or two of the gajra over her shoulder letting them rest by her chest...
He very gently took her hand in his and slid the red glass bangles he'd bought for her as well as few of her gold ones making her gasp happily...
S: kaanch ki choodiyaan!!!!
She sqeauled excitedly and threw herself in his arms and he wrapped his arms around her very happy seeing this side of hers...
Sita realised what she did and awkwardly broke the hug...
S: ( shy) j...ji...inki kya avashyakta thi swaami?
She asked innocently. ...
R: uss din Ayodhya lautte samay mujhe yah dikhi aur vichaar aaya ki aapki kalaiyyon par ye atyant sundar lagengi...toh bas le aaya...
He replied with a smile...
S: aur yah gajra?
R: udyaan ke pushpo ko ekatrit kar banaya...aapko pasand toh aaya na?
Sita nodded her head...
S: aapka har uphaar mere liye apne jeevan se adhik priya hai swaami...
R: ( teasing) aur main???
Sita blushed...and lowered her gaze...

Sita's bangles made a sound as she stirred the kheer in the huge vessel...
Ur: arrey waah didi! kaanch ki choodiyaan! smaran hai hum Mithila mein kitni saari dhaaran kiya karti thi?
S: haan Urmila...unn swarn divso ka main vismaran kis bhaati kar sakti hoon...
She replied lost in old memories. ...
L: arrey waah! aaj toh adbhut sugandh aarahi hai paakshala se...mujhse toh raha hi nahi gaya!
Lakshman exclaimed...
S: arrey...aap? yaha?
L: pranam bhaabhi... kya karoon...aapke bhojan ki sugandh hi itni adhbhut hai...
Sita gave a smile and Urmila pouted looking at him...
Ur: Sumitra nandan aap gande hai!
Lakshman looked shocked at her...
L: main? kyu?
Ur: aap mere liye kuch nahi laate! keval mujhse vivaad karte hai!
L: kuch nahi laate ka kya arth hai? chandrama le aau?
Ur: sarvapratham samanya vastuo se aarambh kijiye...
Lakshman was totally clueless. ...
Sita laughed...
S: kyu mere devar ko chedh rahi ho Urmila?
Ur: arrey kyu? mere pati haina ve...toh mujhe uhe lootne ka bhi adhikaar haina...
Sita gaped at her sister...
S: nirlajj kahiki!
Sge said hitting her head...
Meanwhile Lakshman was looking at them as if he woukd faint the next moment. ...

Everyone was having Lunch...even the Royal family of Mithila who had arrived for the function was there...
D: uttam! ati uttam putri Sita! Kaushalya...ab tum paakshaala ki baakdor Sita ko hi sop do...aisa bhojan khaakar toh main dhanya hogaya...
K: avashya maharaj! Sita...putri aajse paakshala ka daitv tumhara!
She said lovingly caressing her cheek...
Sita looked at Ram with a smile...he smiked back at her... making her lower her eyes. ...
Manthara clenched her fists and seethed...seeing her plan A fail successfully...
Urmila whispered to Sita...
Ur: dekhiye toh kaise kha rahe hai...aapke haat ka bhojan...mujhe bhay hai kahi apni ungliya na khajaaye...
S: Urmila...ab bas karo!
L to R: Ram bhaiyya dekhiye ab bhi Urmila Sita bhaabhi ko mera ulhaana de rahi hogi!
R: offohh! tum kuch adhik hi vichaar karte ho...do behne aapas mein varta hi toh kar rahi hai...tum bhojan par dhyaan kendrit karo...
L: haan iss bhojan ka apmaan meri bhaabhi ka apmaan hai jo main kadapi sehen nahi karsakta bhale hi vo swayam main hi kyu na hoon...
Ram just smiled to this pure love of Lakshman towards his Sita bhaabhi who was more of his mother now...and he was ready on one foot to slay the person who dared to insult her...
R: mujhe gyaat hai Lakshman...ki tum apni Sita bhaaabhi se kitna prem karte ho...unhe apni ma maante ho...
L: ma se kahi badhkar...un jaisi bhaabhi paana mera saubhagya hai...
Kk: kya baatein horahi hai Ram? Lakshman? hume bhi batao...
L: kuch nahi mata...main keval apni chauthi ma ke vishay mein bhaiyya se baat kar rahi thi...
Su: chauthi ma?
L: haan...Sita bhaabhi...
All smiled...
K: haan bhai! ab 10 baaton mein keval Ram-Sita...aur kisi vastu ko toh ise bhaan hi nahi...
S: mata aap ek ati aavashyak vyakti ko bhool rahi hai...
Sita teased...
Kk: arrey haan! vahi na Sita jo tumhari baayi orr khadi hai...Urmila!
All started laughing at this ...
Sun: mujhe prasannata hai ki meri chaaro putriyaan ek aise sasuraal mein hai jo unka maayka hi ban chuka hai...
Sunaina said emotionally ...
D: Rajan...ab aapke din gaaye...ab Sita ke uttam bhojan ke sevan ke din humare hai!
Dashrath told Janak making him laugh...
J: haan...avashya ab toh Sita aaphiki putri hai...
Sun: mera soubhagya hai ki meri sabhi putiyon ki ko saas nahi maae praapt hui hai...jinhone mujhe patra likhne ka kasht uthaakar inki ruchiyon abhiruchiyon ke vishey mein gyaan praapt karne ki cheshtha ki...
K: humari Ayodhya inke aagman se khil uthi hai...parantu aaj toh ve aapke saath kuch dino ke liye prasthaan karjaayenge...aur Ayodhya soona prateet hoga ...
Sun: Maharani Kaushalya...Mithila ki avastha iss samay yahi hai...mahal ke sabhi sthaan inka smaran karate hai...
Kk: haan vo toh hai...achcha putriyon! bhojan uparaant tum chaaro apne prasthaan ki tayyari karo...didi! main Mithila jaanewaali samagriyon ki vyavastha ka nirikshan kar aati hoon..
Kaikeyi said as she left the hall...
Ram felt sadness seep into him...but seeing Sita's glowing face it just vanished...
R: ( to himself) nahi! main apne liye Sita ko yaha nahi rok sakta... kitni khush hai ve apne ma litashree se milkar aur unke saath samay vyateet karne ke vichaar se...
D: Rajan...aapko Mithila toh jaana hi hai...parantu kuch din...humara aatithya sweekar kar phir Mithila ke liye prasthaan kare...
Sun: shyama kare Maharaj...parantu hum...apni putriyon ke sasuraal mein...
Kk: arrey nahi! yeh toh unka maayka hi hai! humara nivedan sweekar kar lijiye...aapne humare Ram aaur Lakshman ka bhi bohot dhyaan rakha hai...hume. bhi bhi kripa kar humara aabhaar vyakt karne ka ek avsar de...
D: Rani Kaikeyi ka kathan sarvatha uchit hai...Rajan...kripya maan jaiyye...putriyaan bhi atyant prasann hongi...
J: avashya...ab putriyon ki baat aayi hai toh unhe hum kisprakaar inkaar kar sakte hai...
The three sisters envoloped Sita tight all at once...
L: ye toh Sita bhaabhi ke peeche hi pad gayi!
He said as he saw Sita pant a bit after being realessed from the air tight hug...
R: tumhe har jagah keval Urmila ki hi truti dekhai deti hai na...
L: truti ki hogi tabhi toh pata chala na iska naam Urmila nahi Truti hona chahiye tha...
He muttered...
R: kuch kaha tumne?
L: n..nahi bhaiyya...

Ma: oh ho! tum kitna krodh karti ho Urmi!
Mandvi chided her...
Urmila had seen Lakshman ehispering to Ram and was sure he was making fun of her because she saw Ram scold him...
Ur: krodh aur main? tum jaakar yah unn krodhi Sumitra nandan ko samjhao!
Just then Sita entered with Ram & Lakshman...
Ma: didi! ab aap hi ise samjhaiyye...
S: kya hua? avashya hi yeh krodhit hogayi hogi...
Ur: haan didi...parantu aaj aap bhi mera krodh shaant nahi kar paayengi...
Bharat and Shatrrughna looked on and threw curious glances at their respective wives...
M: olle meli pyaari Urmi! maan bhi jao na!
Ur: ( furious) Mandvi...main koi do varsh ki bachchi hoon kya?
S: nahi...parantu mere liye toh hona...meri chotu Urmila!
She said cupping her cheeks...
Mandvi hugged her from behind. ...
Ma: meri pyaari rakshasi maan jao na!
Urmila gaped...
Ur: kya kaha?? Rakshasi! RAKSHASI!!!! ab toh kadipi nahi!
Urmila turned her face away with an angry cute pout...
Ma: ab bas bhi karo anyatha naasika se laal dhumra ka padarpan hoga!
She teased making Urmila hit her playfully...
All burst out laughing at this comment. ...
S: Mandvi!...bas karo!
Sita said in between her laughs...
Ur: has lijiye sab!
She said turning her face away...
R: Urmila...tumhe gyaat hai yeh sabhi rumhe kyu chidha rahe hai?
Ur: avashya jijashree...kyunki inn sabko mujhe aise dekhne mein atyadhik aanand praapt hota hai...
R: nahi...isliye kyunki tum hume atyant priya ho...hum kisi agyaat vyakti ko chidhate nahi...kyu?
Urmila looked down...
R: ( smile) Urmila tum mere liye meri choti behen ho...main tumhe isprakaar dukhi nahi dekh sakta...
Ur: aap kitne achche hai...aur meri pyaari didi toh hai hi! keval aap dono hi mujhe samajhte hai...
S: achcha meri ma! ab bhojan karogi tum?
Urmila smiled and gladly pulled the plate Sita had bought for her closer and started eating...
