I feel good abt your comment. My friend's and family's BIGGEST GROUSE WITH ME is I'm not good at remembering dates.
So till today I get a text from my mother in law reminding me that it's my sisters or sister in law's or nieces or nephews bday and more often than not another side I get a text t from my father on the prodding of my mother to wish someone. Now my daughter reminds me " ma pl for heaven sake use atleast your devices to pop the dates "
And my friends have given up on me and they joke with me " kalpana u hv to thank social media for reminding you about us , otherwise u will be dead".

That offhand comment on feb 2 just stuck with me jas.

Asma, till I got married I looked at my parents as just parents.
After marriage especially in the first year I looked at them as a couple too
And now even more I observe that in tough moments they are there quietly understanding and dependent on each other.
I was reminded of my parents for some reason when Mr. Iyer and Mrs iyer were talking to each other.
It's so easy that we get self consumed with ourselves isn't it.
