He HATED that

She was not the one to give up easily...

She had a  litany of things... things that enraged and excited her, she never had a lukewarm reaction to anything.

"How come you always change the chai and cheeni?"
"How come the laundry basket is wherever u fold laundry...

"The ladder is on my way to the bedroom

"I dont like the water leak in the balcony... the birds hate slippery patios
She had a million opinion about the 8th Arrondissement apartment

"This music is too sad"

"We came home too early"

"I am sick of baingan"

"I am going to binge watch 80s Rajni movies

"I HATED that movie from last night"

He couldnt get her to watch even 40% of Fifty Shades... she was too grossed out
No she wasnt coy... she came up with tricks with all his belts one night...
He ended up making love with one of his wrists strapped to a bed post...


"I am OK" she said wanting to be left alone


He sat her up
"Do u trust me?" he asked somberly


"No" she said

He chuckled...

Finally... an OPINION

"Why are u asking" she said becoming aloof again

"Will you tell me whats bothering you


"Nothing" she whispered

"Thats a lie II" he said crushing her on his chest

He kissed the top of her head fondly...

"Dr Gupta asked me 67 questions... mujhe kuch hua nahi hai" she said yawning...
Sam came up with the baby, and a really distraught look... II didnt look at Nivi or bend down and kiss her just went to teh bathroom after briefly greeting Sam


"I cant believe it" Sam whispered

She was tearful


"Bechari R&B... its so severe... the Doc says its very pronounced thats why it was detected very fast... did something trigger it?" she asked


"We fought over Bala last night" he said

Sam was horrified

"Dad is asking Dr Gupta if she should go to D II... no wonder u pissed him off royally" Sam was livid

R&B got up chasing his wife down in the bathroom, she leaned against the sink pale and motionless

"Lets go down for a bit" he said firmly

"Chalo neeche Ishita" Sam begged

"I am OK here... its night no..." she said wearily

"Mujhe ... mera matlab... chalo mere saath" Sam handed the baby to R&B
II didnt protest one bit

"He takes very good care" II endorsed

"bath, changing, playing with her putting her to sleep" II declared

Sam psuhed her into the sun room hit all the lights  "Chocolate laayenge?" she asked Mahavir

II's eyes didnt light up, she crouched on the bed with a faraway look, her knees drawn up

"Amma ke ghar jaaogi?" Sam offered, kindly, hugging her

"Its fine" II shook her head

"Good Grief" groaned Sam... the II she knew would jump up at chocolate, D II, Nivi

She was like a wet rag now... cold and emotionless

"Mere ghar chalogi?" she asked softly smiling, undoing II's hair, picking up a brush from the sun room's walk in closet

She did her hair gently

"Geele kapdon mein soyi?" she scolded

"Its summer no" II explained

"Galat hai" Sam scolded


"Mere ghar chalo"

"Lasya ke saath khelne?" II smiled

"Tumhare paas apni hai" Sam teased

"Her Daddeee loves her" II began to cry

"Oh love!!!" Sam groaned, hugging her, stopping mid way braiding her hair

Depression especially post parttum can be ones worse enemy. It's like a fog that descends and refuses to lift up. It's so important for care givers and people around you to understand otherwise can lead up to disastrous results. I certainly hope RB and Ranjan and everyone will help her as she goes through one of the most difficult phases of her life. Must kill RB to see feisty II like this. Sad indeed sad. But then everyone she's II and he's RB he's not give up on his lady love, will he now? 

The title had me intrigued 😆

Ayyoyyo this is not the II we have known, I had no idea that new moms go through all this and to such an extent, the II we know is full of life, a live wire, full of compassion, fight,love agitation, warmth and lazy and sexy.

Sam is as usual the need of the hour, the mother of the siblings and the elder daughter to the father

Now I am sure bring Ii from dii so soon was wrong. But not sure sending her to dii now would serve as solution. I guess she will feel all the more depressed if she has to stay away from dude now.
R&B I guess now knows the problem and will help Ii resolve it. He loves her to core for what she is. So he will ensure that Ii is ok and her old self.

It's so not happening Nisha...
But then it's indeed a sign of great storytelling to involve each and evey aspect of life
Post partum depression is one of them. Which is generally not so mentioned
Whereas it's the most difficult phase in every women's life...

Who goes through it can only understand the state
U sometimes feel will I be ever normal like before..
And mind u it's horrible to think like that!!

II definitely needs a good care
Rather I will say motherly care where MM is lacking
Although Sam is there but she can't be there all the time
I don't know now Wht will Ranjan and dude will do to bring back
Our II which was life of Sosy 😭

This II is not the one I know...Aiyoodaaa bechariii ladkii!

Really amazing update nisha I am waiting to see how the dude deals with it 

Poor II 😭
So damn excited to know how Dude will get her 'fire cracker' back
