Tera Mera Rishta (GeoTV) Shehzad Noor, Farwa Kazmi

Model Shahzad Noor is all set to debut on television with Geo Television's upcoming drama serial Tera Mera Rishta.

The drama serial is directed by Ali Faizan, who earlier directed the serial based on child labour Chhoti. Rabia Razzaq is the writer and has written a story based on the relationship of a brother and sister.

Noor spoke to HIP about his debut and his role in the drama serial.

"My role in the drama is a of a quiet boy who doesn't speak much in the serial, rather releases his frustration through gyming and swimming," he said

Noor also added that he is completely a director's boy and it wouldn't have been possible for him to do the role without the director's help.

"When I did my first scene, I was quite apprehensive; especially because of my Pushto accent. I wasn't able to deliver my lines fluently, but my director helped me a lot. Now I am thoroughly enjoying my work [acting]," he added.

Noor may have ventured into acting, but he doesn't plan to leave modeling. He has been associated with this field for over four years now and won the Best Model of the Year award at the Lux Style Awards 2015.

Apart from Noor, the cast includes newbies such as Farwa Kazmi, Alamdar, Abdullah Ejaz, and Marjan. However, veterans like Tauqeer Nasir and Naila Jafry are also part of the team.

According to a press release, the drama is based on a story of a young girl Horain (Farwa Kazmi). She is leading a happy life with her brothers who pampers her to the fullest. She also has a fiance who is a childhood friend. The sudden demise of one of her brothers turns her life upside down.

The drama will air on Geo TV on every Friday and Saturday at 8:00 pm from December 11.
