Yeah. I edited my post to add that whatever little romance there was in the film, it was okay. It didn't make me feel awww or anything lol...if that makes sense..

I wouldn't go in expecting full on romance if that's what some are expecting.

The budget is around 90 crore for the movie CORRECTED: Budget is around 60 crore
It has 3000 screens in India

80 crore business= safe zone
100 crore business= hit

200 crore business= blockbuster

there is no competition at the BO...Spectre is there but it will cater to different audience

Most of the viewers for Tamasha will be multiplex and Metro

Anything near/above a 40% on Friday will be considered great...but sustaining it and growing over the weekend is needed. This will 100% depend on WOM which is good from International audiences but the Indian audience can be different

Deepika is good in whatever parts she has. I'm not a Deepika fan but she portrayed Tara well. Her emoting scenes in particular stood out for me. There were certain parts where Tara puts on French and Chinese accents..and DP was impressive with that as well. After the leap, when both Tara and Ved are living their daily lives...I felt I could relate to Tara..her emotions that is...that's why I loved the song Heer to badi sad hai, and it's picturized on Deepika and she emotes well I felt..and that was essential for the film. Yes, the film is more about Ved's journey as someone else stated above...Tara acts as a catalyst in helping Ved understand who he really is. Imtiaz doesn't give Tara much scope as a character..but whatever parts Deepika does have, she's good.

Tamasha is an upcoming Indian romantic drama film directed by Imtiaz Ali and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It stars Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. Tamasha tells the story of character "Ved" (played by Ranbir Kapoor) who loses his self by living according to the social conventions expected of him. The film score and soundtrack album are composed by A. R. Rahman, with lyrics from Irshad Kamil. Tamasha is scheduled to release on 27 November 2015. Censor Board gave UA certificate to the film. Tamasha is the second film the two are doing together, after Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Deepika will also be seen playing the role of Mastani in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani, which also stars Ranveer Singh as Bajirao and Priyanka Chopra as Kashibai. RK on the other hand was earlier shooting for Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma, before starting his promotional spree for Tamasha. Anyhow, according to the updates and reports received is movie budget around 60 Crores*. The Movie is releasing around 3500+ Screens.
