Drabble: Rh factor
(Abhi has come to see Tannu in the hospital after she fell and went unconscious. He brings doctors in, and Pragya, Bulbul and Purab walk in too. Nikhil who was talking to Tannu at that time hides behind the curtains).
A: Doctor, please check Tannu properly.
Doc: Don't worry Mr. Abhi. We are doing all tests to make sure the baby and the mother are fine.
A: Thank you doctor. Don't worry Tannu, you will be fine.
Doc: So, who is the father of the baby?
T: It's Abhi.
(Pragya glares at Tannu, Abhi looks away and Nikhil feels angry).
Doc: Mr. Abhi, come with me (doctor takes Abhi aside).
Doc: Look Mr. Abhi, I didn't want to say this in front of the mother and worry her. We found Rh antibodies in her blood and she is Rh negative. It is because the baby must be Rh positive and it is because of the father's blood. You must be positive, right? Do you know your blood group?
A: Positive?? My blood is B minus.
Doc: Really? That's weird. Come to the lab, let's do a quick test (asks his assistant to arrange for the test).
A: Doctor, I am scared of giving blood. I hope it won't hurt much.
Doc: Abhi, it's the question of your baby. The baby can have Erythroblastosis Fetalis. Even if this baby won't have it.. the second would for sure...

Doc: Tannu is also B minus. I just checked again.
A: Then?
Doc: How can she have Rh antibodies? The father of her baby must be Rh plus. It indicates the father is not you...

(Abhi enters the room and shuts the door. And he slowly walks towards Tannu).
T: Abhi, everything is okay? My baby, our baby is okay? What did the doctor say?
A: (Sits by Tannu, takes his hand to her cheeks as if to caress but suddenly almost strangles her neck) Whose baby is it Tannu? I know it's not mine. Admit it. You know me, I can do anything when I am angry. If you were not pregnant, I would have killed you right now.
(Tannu struggles to breath, Pragya, Bulbul and Purab are startled. Nikhil is feeling worried for Tannu).
A: ADMIT IT TANNU! TELL ME WHY WERE YOU LYING!!!
(Tannu is still struggling to breath).
N: STOP IT ABHI. LET HER GO, THE BABY IS MINE.
