All 3 'Shinma' ladies are slim and wore all-black outfits that looked good on them. Kavita was wearing something that looked like a potato sack. Prathamesh Parab is about six inches shorter than Mitali Mayekar! Instead of wasting 40 out of 60 minutes in the antics of the monkey gang, why can't they give more than 5 seconds to the producer-director duo? It's downright insulting to be invited for literally 15 seconds and to be allowed to speak just 1 sentence!

I have not watched it for more than 5 minutes each time, but the 'Ganpati Bappa Moraya' serial is unlikely to last more than a few episodes. The production values are terrible, the costumes and makeup are outrageously bad, the acting is pathetic and the song-and-dance routines look like parody! The trunk of Ganpati is laughably bad and one feels one might see a 'Made in China' sticker underneath it if the trunk is lifted high up! Is this really produced by Mahesh Kothare?

@bold, And they had supposedly spent crores on this "trunk"!!!!!!. No wonder my Mom refuses to move away from MPS. Even ALKK is very patchy and may not last the full term. I think Colors may not catch up with ZM in spite of the unappetizing serials being aired on ZM.

Maybe it is "inspired" by the Carry On series of the 60's and 70's. Those low budget "adult comedies" were quite a hit during those days. With even Riteish being successful in adult comedies it was only a matter of time before the Marathi producers would think along these lines wouldn't they?

Images, statues, painting, symbolic presentations and even animations of the '1st god' always give us positive vibes whenever we look at those.

However it's ironic that whenever this god is shown 'live' in serials, dramas and movies with such 'pathetic appendix' on face, it makes us laugh at the actor and at the makers.

It is applicable to 'God Maruti' appearances as well 😆

These low-quality accessories may be due to lower-budget by colors marathi who is trying to come above losses. production values in "ASSB" or any other serials of same channel don't match that of ZM who is spending better though not the best. Even in JM some of the stock shots - like gods standing in sky or huge crowd gathering are really laughable.

Well, we have commented enough on the poor wardrobe budgets for ZM serials like HSMHG, Asmita etc. There are letters in the newspapers too commenting on the relative poverty of Janhavi's wardrobe. And we know ZM saved money by shooting much of the Shri-Janhavi love story outdoors (mostly bus stops).

From the 'Looking At The World Through Jaundiced Eyes' Department comes this extremely biased, motivated piece in yellow journalism by rediff.com:

rediff.com is notorious for its strong anti-BJP and anti-Modi bias and several of its 'journalists' could easily pass off as the spokespersons of the opposition. In the above piece, the journalist is looking at KKG through the fashionable 'intolerant' angle - that it's an anti-Muslim propaganda. It didn't even occur to me to think of it that way. In fact, Zareena is in many ways a central character in the story and she is shown to be a very 'good Muslim', since the 'journalist' is suggesting that Muslims are portrayed badly in the movie.

I personally disliked Vijay Tendulkar's strong anti-Brahmin bias in his plays. In most of his plays, the villain is a conservative Brahmin. Can we couple this with his strong anti-Modi statements ('give me a gun and I will shoot Modi') and brand him as a rabid anti-Hindu?

In fact, that is closer to the truth than the allegation that KKG is anti-Muslim.

Ya so called reporters chi keev karavishi watate... cant they look at the movie purely on basis of its quality... kashacha kashala badrayan sambadh nastana asha prakarchya comments mhanje murkhapana aahe...😡

And as expected these so called reporters wont even take notice of the so called cinematic liberty taken by SLB while portraying kashibai dancing with mastani...

Next song released by SLB of the movie is showing Rau himself dancing on victory song malhari which r having words like waat lavli and dance steps are like some govinda pathak dancing on streets on dahihandi or people dancing in ganapati visarjan miravnuk...

Pathetic and annoying...

But as usual it will go unnoticed...😡
