For a film that revolves around rock music, it couldn't have been better for sure...

Farhan Akhtar and Shraddha Kapoor is all set to roll on with Rock On 2 this month and guess what, there are interesting things happening in the forefront already. The makers have roped in some special people to do interesting cameos in the film.

No, it's not the superstar Khans or our Shahenshah Mr. Bachchan we are talking about. Farhan and his Excel Entertainment team have got music director-singer Vishal Dadlani and Shankar Mahadevan on board for a special appearance in the film. Not just them, Sunidhi Chauhan will also be seen doing a cameo.

A source tells us, "The film will showcase some of the best rock concerts happening in the country. Rock On 2 is definitely one step up from its prequel. To make the concerts look more authentic, Farhan and Co. have got Sunidhi, Vishal and Shankar on board who will be seen playing themselves on screen. They will be doing gigs and performing in the film during sequences."

The film will revolve around the same band that existed in Rock On, with Shraddha being the newest addition to the group. The two have been jamming together and will be singing all their songs in the film.

The film will be shot across Shillong and in Mumbai and is tentatively going to release towards mid next year
