Yeah it does have a decent fan following, but it's seriously unfair on the the cast/show overall they did not deserve this kind of treatment. The show started on TV and they should have let it remain so, another 6months at 11PM slot or another slot wouldn't have killed. You never know the TRP could've gone up. SP could have launched a new show on hotstar or moved one of their long running shows to experiment it. Yes it's meant to be airing in mid October so there will changes in story, but I prefer the original story minus Tayji ofcousre. I don't know where this is going now.

I feel there's something fishy.

Yeah I think what I found frustrating was that the Trps weren't "that" bad.. I mean DYM was getting 0.7 so I get ending that. BD is still early enough that it could've taken off like YHM. But look at Sony-- their shows get like 0.5 and they are still running. So I don't think its just a profitability thing. But I like you said there is something fishy going on. I think what SP is afraid of is losing their No 1 channel status. Look at the top shows right now. SNS, SSK, YHM, MATSH, KKB, Swargini.

Lets face it something that EK produces has higher odds of becoming this massive hit than BD. And they probably know that by the time they've messed with the plot enough-- they would lose the original audience without necessarily gaining a new audience. Look at what they've done to TSM.

As for the cast.. I think they should feel proud that their show is being given an opportunity to try something different. I can't tell you how many shows I have lost interest in because they screwed up the plot in the trp race.
