Exactly ! Its not about supporting adultery but at the same time its very easy to tagmark something as adultery. But what needs to be considered are the circumstances that lead to it. Not that they justify the act but definitely they help you to see things in a different perspective ! And in this case, in terms of law it might be adultery but marriage mainly being a human emotional relation, this act cannot be outright marked as adultery ! Bcoz, where marriage in real meaning of the term no longer existed, there cannot be any adultery !

Thank you :* ! I was trying to find something to comment in the forum other than the CG and the ATs.😆
Loved his take. This man has seriously such a wonderful understanding of the characters. And yes, I have maintained the stance he does right here, he wasn't having a full on extra marital affair with Tarini, the one night was a mistake if you look at it from the marriage point of view, but when the relationship, the marriage he was in, was NOT a marriage in its truest sense, he tried to seek solace, physically and emotionally somewhere else. And he did it because he is only human.

And people grow, they admit to their mistakes, and what he did later, when trying to help Tarini and Anurag speaks volume about the character of Kabir Sharma.😳

I louu him. Rajeev <33 ☺️

Can I just say that I love this guy?? I mean I can go on saying it till he goes on giving us such honest answers. And I love the fact that he didnt try to explain the right or wrong in having an ONS...he went on to explain it being so "natural"...he is right...most of Indian society is too hypocritical in such things. We know it happens...yet we act so idealistic and judge mental about it...I mean why? It was a mistake that happened in a state of mind that just wanted someone's comfort...a heart that just wanted to be LOVED in every way...its human and very realistic. And I must say kudos to this man to have the guts to say all this w/o being sugar-coated specially when heres surely a risk if someone doesnt try to get the practicality and logic behind his answers, he can be easily misunderstood.
Anyways his amazing pov does explain why he is such an amazing person...just love him for being so honest!!

But dude did Rajeev make a mistake or what he actually said..."a man who wants solace and a friend who likes him" 😲 Is this the case with Tarini?? Seems Rajeev spilled the beans unintentionally.

Rajeev said what many of us were ranting about! we never supported his actions or defended him, wrong is wrong but we only put things into perspective and looked at the situation from Kabir's Point of view. Some hardcore feminists were ready to blame everything on him, and depict shreya as the poor victim😳.
Even I questioned why kabir stayed in the marriage but do we ever question why a woman stayed in an abusive marriage? we automatically sympathize with them, or believe that she wanted the marriage to work. Maybe kabir did not leave because of that very reason, he wanted this marriage to work. We expect Kabir to be strong and make the right decisions because of his character and partly because he is a Man but he is human, after all.

thanks to rajeev for giving us a concise, practical and logical answer. he did not get into the rights and wrongs, but only told us Kabir;s POV and that it was realistic and natural at that time.

Well said ! But Kabir is not a super human to take a right decision at the right time every time ! Why do few people fail to get this ? :(
