Sairaat :
Good Movie but I felt bit underwhelming types...may be I expected a Lot , considering how hard hitting and disturbing Fandry was .

Story is pretty simple done to death types , but what sets Siaraat apart is the way the screenplay has been written , this I'll say for both the Parts.
First Half is Best one , The depiction of Young Love that is done leaves you with a smile and mushy feeling . The first meet , the letter exchange and the Classroom room scene post "Atta ga baya " song and the Lyrics used in it ..(This was Superb Scene 😆) .

The whole Part towards First Half end , The families knowing abt it and the way they escapes was well Executed.

Second half was more of Reality Check , the need for survival , problems arising between couple and knowing they have now no one to fall back on , also Family bearing the effect of the Steps taken by Kids .
The dark side that the Director wanted to show was well handled esp the situations that he chose to show .

I have to say the Climax Execution was Superb ...esp the movie end , reminded me the way Fandry Ends .
There is earthy Rawness in the movie which Nagraj is expert in Capturing .

Music was Exceptional , 4 songs bt how well composed , Captured used in the Movie .
Ajay-Atul deserves all the accolades coming their Way .
But I must credit the Picturization of these songs , Awesomely Done ...WOW...
This probably has to be Best whole Music Album post Natrang and Jogwaa ...
Background Score is Ace...

Captain America: Civil War
I knew almost all the spoilers (SNS 😡) but I enjoyed it nevertheless. I will always be Team Iron Man because both Tony and RDJ are ❤️, but I could see why all the characters made the decisions they did. I was also afraid that they would make Tony seem like a villain because it's Cap's movie (and I think that's what happened in the original comics?), but they didn't. I actually thought their arguments made more sense than Cap's side.
(I did end up very annoyed with Cap, though, especially at the end.)

I got a truck-load of Tony Stark feels but don't want to post spoilers, so I'll just say I hope there's lots of Tony-appreciation in the next Avengers movie from ALL of them. Clint, Steve, Nat, Sam, everyone. They really made him suffer a LOT in this one. 😭

Peter-Tony scenes were great! I had my doubts about Tom Holland because I liked Andrew Garfield, but he was great! And I'm super-excited to see Tony in the new Spiderman movie!

I liked T'Challa too. Haven't read the comics, so I had NO idea about Black Panther, but I ended up liking him. He was the one guy making rational decisions. 😆

And RDJ of course was great. (So was Chris Evans, esp that helicopter shot 😛, but next to RDJ...) Especially in the THAT scene - the climax. 👏

Really good, overall!

4/5

The cinematography was great... very stylish..very hollywoodish

And I like the fact that the entire movie is in English. Very gutsty decision by the director.

Overall good movie.

The scene in which the lecturer gets slapped was so chilling. I witnessed a similar incident years ago. It was disturbing back then and it was disturbing in the movie, as well. And the following scene, where Archie's father talks about it in such a casual tone. Also that scene where Pradeep is heartbroken about his crush, just after that he smiles and greets another guy on the road who is limping. It was another scene which stayed with me. The reason why I loved the first half more was not just because of the breezy love story but also how all the area and character dynamics came together so well, through some really impactful scenes.

I know this was pretty random, but I wanted to mention those bits so quoting. 😆

Me too had witnessed such Incident during school times , only diff being the guy did not belong to any Bigshot family he had Anger Mgmt issue ...still It sent shivers...

the scene when the Guys visit the Teachers for help and the kind of questions they ask Prashant ...were so disgusting . But then It is Reality .

There are many Moments that Stays ...
Even the climax one ...the family looking at those Photograph's on Wall and the Album...Those pics were so Heartwarming , yet it dint melt them...😭.
The last shot ...those Blood cladded foot Imprints of the Baby...💔

Neerja

I was skeptical about watching this film irrespective of the excellent reviews and Box office performance of this film, i thought it would be better to avoid the film. The film was airing in star gold tonight, so finally watched it and the experience was overwhelming, knowing the plot line and even the predictability of the film's flow, it still had me interested throughout its run time.

Some films are made directly from the heart, and this is one of those films. I just loved how everything was so simplified, Neerja's flashbacks, her interactions with the terrorists, her break down, her mother's final speech and all of these still leaves a deep impact within you when you watch it. I never knew that Neerja was this coy and such a bullied woman who was suppressed by her husband, did not even know that she pursued to be a model and how she had to give in to the orders of her husband and leave her ambition.

All the sequences were executed so well that i wished for some more flashbacks, i wanted to see some more of Neerja's past life, may be something of her childhood as she was too young when she was married. All those plane hijack sequences were disturbing, and as i knew that during the final evacuation she will die, i wished that there could be some moment where she might talk with her Mother for the last time.

Hats off to the director, i think this is how you make a biopic to honor a brave soul like Neerja, it would be too task of a job to judge this film's story line or even the performances, because the whole time i was watching, i could not help but feel that how did the real Neerja and those passengers go through this crisis and how did their real families deal with it. Honestly, being a viewer it was so disturbing and bewildering to watch this. Thanks to the entire team, the directors, writer, producer, Sonam, Shabana Azmi, every other actor be it Neerja's father or the terrorists, the other air hostess, Shekhar and all those kids, every body deserves a standing ovation to let people like us know about the brave and beautiful soul Neerja was and how she deserves all those salutes.

PS- For the entire time, i thought i will not cry, but the moment end credits started rolling and the pictures and photos of real Neerja flashed on my screen, i could not help but cry, that lady was so beautiful, and so young, and at that age she went through gazillions of hardships and still achieved so much of courage, humanity and love that she sacrificed her own life. Truly very few people like her exist, and she definitely is somebody who makes every woman, every mother proud, not only from India but viewers from every other part of the world will only love and respect her after knowing about her.

Captain America Civil War

Watched this a week back and couldn't share my 2 cents here. Man what a movie! It's by far the best Marvel movie I've seen and kudos to Marvel for being nothing but the best

Great story, amazing acting, really cool VFX & CGI, and mind boggling stunts. I was awestruck by practically everything and kept on screaming with joy. Yeah I think I annoyed quite a lot of people at the cinema😆 Plus I watched on imax so it was double the fun

There are so many memorable moments in the movie. Loved the banter between Stark and Spidey. That moment in Peter Parker's room between him and Stark was hilarious and sweet at the same time. Antman was funny especially his introduction to Team Cap 😆 Black Panther was frigging awesome!! Cannot wait for his movie and Spidey's

I'm going for the movie again this weekend

Highly recommended!!

Angry Birds

Watched this movie out of choice since I wanted to experience Civil War in 4DX but this is all they had at the cinema 😆 I liked the beginning but it gets really boring mid point on wards. If not for Chuck (yellow bird) and my $12, I'd have left the theater half way through 😆

I love animations but this one did not suit my taste buds. Loved 4DX technology but not much for the movie. Sorry Red!! Don't get mad 😆
