It is simply because, you spoke about the Bhasan dena wali (Dharma). Aaj tho palace mein koi mila naa. Isiliye thume pakad liya. Yaad rakna beta, acha ya bura, uske varain main kuch nahin bolna. Nahi tho aiyse he TV ki bahar bhi aise bhashan sunna padega. Aur kabhi bhi mujhe mat bulana tum fas gaya tho. Mein sun nahin saktha hoon iski bhashan (LOL)

Medha, Good to know that you stand by your views as long as you feel that it is right. This trait is rarely found these days as people tend to move with the wave. You should continue retaining this trait though I don't know if this really a good trait or not, as I found difficulties in my life with this ATTITUDE - Well, people had difficulties in dealing with me due to this attitude.

Thanks, I think we should be true to our views. What is the point of writing something I do not agree with. I always respect people who write from the heart. I might not agree but I respect it. Like I wrote before what is the fun if everybody thought same and agreed?

Again, I am sure you gals must be best judge in all these as you have been watching historicals for long time. Though in this show, I feel that Helu darling is the only one whose costume is elegant - Royal. Everyone else looks Gada (not donkey - I dont know the equivalent word in Hindi) to me. Ofcourse I like Dharma's current costume too (sevika). I think this natural beauty does not need any extra fittings like noor or charu didi. I would love to see her with the simplest of clothings and extra fittings (if that is the only way to say that she is no more a sevika).

I like all the queen's looks. Helena's of course yes. I think in old days they used to tie cloths not much stitching. So the blouses are knotted and saris are worn kinda like dhotis. Dharma's character is very understated reticent, like one of my friends described she is not materialistic. So suddenly after becoming a Queen she would not wear everything in her jewelry box! Plus one classy beautiful piece of jewelry is more appealing than putting on tons of gold!


I understand what you are saying. Well, again I did not mean that you offended Dharma didi, but Bullock by comparing her with it. I am an animal lover and I dont like people comparing humans with animals or scolding humans by calling/refering to other species. And I very well know that you didnot say that intentionally. Sometimes, it happens to us. I love almost every animal except human being - the so called social animal. (let me not get into the reasoning as why I like other living beings more than human animals)

OMG I only compared the jewelry and their designs! Not Pallavi or comment about bullocks! I was talking about the jewelry they are decked with. I am also an animal lover. Human beings can be the best or the worst. An animal can never create an absolutely divine piece of music or singing or sculpture or painting.

BTW, I did figured this out that it is Paridhi immediately after responding to you yesterday, through ImageSearch in google. Thanks anyway. I saw all her other pictures. Truely speaking, I didnot like her pictures except the profile picture in which she looks classy. BTW, I cant compare her with our natural beauty - Dharma Didi. I simply love her for the mystic smile she carries. This quality in her keeps miles away from others. May be this is the reason why was chosen to play the role of Dharma.

You might have seen Paridhi's photos in her normal off screen look. She looked absolutely ethereal post wedding look in JA. Then in some tracks her makeup was simply atrocious. I actually had made a thread on JA forum to show her in good and bad make up. You might get to see some of her most amazing photos in Jodha look in JA forum, of course if interested!


I have been thinking of watching JA for quite some after watching the movie. I will probably do so after I complete all episodes of CGM. I can understand your feelings, but as I said earlier in one of the posting, you and I cannot do anything about the cast. It is in the Producers/Directors hand. I wonder if it would make any difference to them by you and me crying foul. Assume that it is one of those 40 people who voted for liked the dress is the CV Head and if s/he is an arrogant one (like me), be rest assured s/he is not going to change her/his stand. If by chance the CV Head visit our forum and understand the viewer's choice, s/he may decide to revisit Dharma's attitude - provided s/he is a kind hearted and read viewers' mind. Let's hope that this happens to make the majority who wants a change in attire. As I said earlier I am ok with both though, maybe because I dont have any big expectations from the show as I am already dissapointed with the show due to the reasons mentioned in one of the threads earlier. I am watching only for Helu Ayya for her plots and to study history of Asoka. No other cast members impressed me.

JA is actually again shown from start on Zee Anmol channel. So if you want to you can watch it on tv also.

We can never be sure if CVs read the comments or get influenced. They should cos we represent the viewer feedback. How else do they know what is working and what is not? TRPs are just one of the indicators. JA viewers were against the leap but CVs forced it and it just sank the show fast. If they had listened to viewers feedback who knows?

I think more than trying to influence anybody else, those who write here on CAS do it for the love of the serial. Why else we would spend hours here? We can only write like this if we are involved with watching good bad love it hate it but we write about it. We can do that only for shows we care about. So till I enjoy watching or want to vent after watching will continue to write hopefully. I do hope you will too, cos really enjoy reading your views.

CVs gave her a whole set of unpolished jwelleries which were visible looking dull & off-colour...

Pallavi Di looks good in simple yet classy thngs...Her get up in promo was nice but it went all wrong in d epis...i dont knw wht suddenly happend to the CVs dat they chnged her look & gave her so mis-matching clothes & jwelleries...!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its very true that all d others, Helena, Charu, Noor, Subhrashi, they look pretty & elegant as their dresses & jwelleries are quite well matched & classy...

The CVs shud consult some awesome stylist for d get up of Devi Dharma...& they shud put equal efforts to give Queen Dharma a far better look which will be classy, elegant, simple & bautiful...

Plzzz avoid those jwelleries from d episode & those mis-matched clothes...

She needs a look of her own, like every other actress in CAS. Even Ahankara has a look of her own. Queen Dharma needs a look to match her character, somehow till now they have not managed to get it right.

Also in old days they used to use different dyes, I am not sure if pink color was in use then!
