Shah Rukh Khan only Bollywood actor to have statue in Indonesia Museum

Shah Rukh Khan has become the first and only Bollywood Actor to have a Statue in De Arca Statue Art Museum in Jogjakarta, Indonesia owing to his huge fan following in that country.

While Madam Tussauds has the figures made of wax, at De Arca, the statues are made of resin (the sap produced by certain plants) to adapt to the climate condition there. The figures in the Indonesian museum have been crafted by renowned Jogja artist, Dunadi.

Amitabh Bachchan was the first Indian to have a wax statue at the Madame Tussauds museum in London. The actor was later on followed by Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan.

Bollywood Diva's Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit too have found a place at the prestigious museum.

Who will follow SRK there ? Only time will tell.
