When Ekta-Karam almost got married
The double onscreen weddings of Ekta Kaul-Karam Rajpal and Roshni Rastogi-Neeraj Malviya could have almost turned real had it not been for an attentive production unit hand, who stopped the pandit chanting the marriage mantras on the set of 'Mere Angne Mein'.
They had hired a real pandit, who was sitting in the mandap along with the two reel couples. He went on reading the mantras to perform the shaadi rituals only to realize that the marriage was happening for real.
All major rituals were done and just when the last few pheras were happening, a production hand realized the folly and immediately stalled that shot.
While Ekta remained unavailable for comment, Karan rubbished the buzz, "This isn't true. No such thing happened."
Ekta and Karam who are paired opposite each other on 'Mere Angne Mein' recently embroiled themselves into a small argument after they shot a particular scene.
