And you also know that they perhaps need you the most now because they're fighting a battle all by themselves. So there is this absolute need to be even more careful than before because he's so aware that in the hike to protect him, she'll overlook the dangers or threats heading her way.

Don't think that he doesn't know she's secret-keeping for the sake of his betterment and safety, he just respects her too much to be demanding her to walk away of her promise to always shine for him...
