TOI:Channel V's Swim Team hits a century

The bold and entertaining daily 'Swim Team' on Channel V is on a celebratory mood!

The one of a kind on swimming and competition completed 100 episodes on July 28.

The series has had a successful run on TV with fans lapping up the drama revolving around the swimming pool and the locker room. With competition, friendship, love and drama constantly adding spice to the track, the show has been gaining momentum in terms of TRPs and popularity equally. (As quoted by tellychakkar.com)

The team planned to party hard at a suburban lounge and let their hair down.


Talking on the same Esha said, "Since this is my first daily, I am really excited about this feat. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire team of Swim Team for working hard and putting all their efforts to make the show a success. Also I want to thank our director for helping us learn so much and making us better performers."

Amit Gaur on the other hand added, "It is going to be a big party tonight wherein we will be celebrating our accomplishment with the team. It is a happy and proud moment for all of us."

'Swim Team' being a youth centric show has been loved by the viewers. One of the leads Pooja Banerjee, who is a real-life national level swimmer went on a strict diet and weight loss programme for the show. There were speculations of the show going off-air, but the good news is that it has got an extension till November!
