Sujoy Ghosh signs film with Eros; Film with Ash/SAK on hold

Here's some news on Sujoy Ghosh.

Unless you've been living under a rock, you must have seen his short film, Ahalya. For those of you who haven't, head here right away.

Yeah, he's winning a lot of praise for this short. But as far as feature films go, he hasn't been as lucky.

Durga Rani Singh has anyway been put on the backburner. The Devotion Of Suspect X too is in limbo with the production house still figuring out the dates of Saif Ali Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.



So what does Sujoy do in the meantime? Surely, he won't sit and twiddle his thumbs.

The director has gone ahead and signed a deal with Eros International for a film titled Reunion. He will be co-producing the project.

A source close to the development revealed, "It's a coming-of-age drama about 10 friends on a life-changing journey. It's a project very close to his heart, something he was developing since the past few years. It is likely to go on floors in November."

When contacted, Sujoy confirmed the story but refused to divulge any more details.
