Who's the better director: Sujoy Ghosh or Sriram Raghavan?

Who's your pick between the two? Sriram has been in the game since the '90s, directing TV serials, but they both really caught attention around the same time. Sriram has been consistently solid, except for a bit of a blip in 2012, while Ghosh hit his peak around that same year.

I have watched only kahani, kahani 2, badla, jaane jaan

Badlapur and andhadun. 

Kahani beats everything, so for me it is Sujoy gosh.

Yeah, if we're putting them in order, Kahani would likely take the top spot. But honestly, I feel like Ghosh's other films haven't quite matched up. Even Jaane Jaan, which was decent, felt like a letdown to those who read the book. It missed the emotional depth the book had. The same goes for Badla – a solid movie if you hadn't seen the original. But if you had, it felt like a poorly done copy. I made the mistake of watching it just a day before Badla.

Raghavan any day and twice on Sunday. Ghosh is a journeyman director - better than most hacks around but doesn't match up to the cream of the crop.

Agent Vinod mein Sriram Raghavan ko kaafi creative compromises karne pade the (I'm guessing Saif Ali Khan produce karrela tha aur armtwist kiya changes karneku).

Sriram wins this. He has only 1 misfire and the rest of the movies are quite awesome

Ghosh only has Kahaani which goes above and beyond. Badla and Jaane Jaan are very good as well. The rest, not so much

Both works for me. Pls don’t make me choose

Loved Jaane Jaan as well, Badla was also good (though I didn't like the ending)
