I know, the title screams of Zindagi Gulzar Hai!
Yes the show consisted of monologues for about 60% of the screen time.

But then, I did notice that the monologues in many other Zindagi shows make a lot of sense than our Indian counterparts.

So here's a thread where we can pour out lines of our favourite monologues (can be and need not be from ZGH)

Let's go!!

Tumse saamna ab mein sirf roz-e-hashar chati hoon Ashar Hussain! iss dunya mein nahin!

yahan tum taqatwar ho aur main kamzor hoon :(

jab mujh par zulm hoa toh sabse bade zalim tum they, mein yeh baat kabhi nahin bhoolongi, Qayamat ke din tak yaad rakhoongi main

aur us roz jab mezaan qaem hoga sabse badi adaalat lagegi, sab munsifon se bada munsif insaaf kar raha hoga, tab tumhe kahin panah nahi miley gi tumhare saari taqat us roz khaak mein mil jayegi!

jab tak mein tumhe maaf nahin karoongi Ashar, mera Allah bhi tumhe maaf nahin karega aur Ashar Hussain apni beti ki qasam kha ke kehti hoon us roz mein tumhe maaf nahin karoon gi...!!

Mine has to be this one.. Kashaf : Iss Waqt Woh Yahaan Nahi Hai.. Par Woh Yahaan Har Jagah Maujood Hai.. Uski Gehri Bolti Nazarein Mere Wajood Par.. Uske Haathon Ka Lamps Mere Haathon Par.. Mein miss karungi? miss tho shayad aik chota lafz hai in ehsaasaath ke liye...jo mein tumhare liye rakhne laggi hoon...aur ab mein apne aap se darne laggi hoon...

kissi se mohobbat insaan ko bohat kamzor kardeti hai...bohat bebas...majboor..mehkoom...aur mujhe in theenon cheezon se nafrat hai...lekin uske bawajood tum meri zindagi ka markaz bante ja rahe ho...

tum mujhse poochte ho ke mujhe tumhari kya baat achi lagti hai..mein tumse yeh kaise kahun..ke mujhe tumhari kaunsi baat achi nahin lagti...apne ird gird tumhara ghoomna,...mere wajood se na hattne waali tumhari gehri bolti nazrein...tumhari har waqt ki tawajjo...tumhara jaan chidakne waala har andaaz...har baar jab tum mere maa baap ke liye ahtaraman khade hote ho..tho mein tumhare saamne jhukne lagti hoon...aur kya kuch nahin...jo mujhe tumhare saamne maum nahin karta...ik chote se ghar mein is pankhe waale kamre mein tumhari yeh gehri neend..mineral water ki bottle ko dhoondnay ke bajaye nalke ka paani pee lena...handwash chod ke aik saste saabun se haath dhona...apni plate ko..meri maa ke pakke khaane se baar baar bharna...

par mein yeh sab tumko kabhi nahin bataungi...tumhare har waade pe hasungi...tumhari har baat ka mazaak udaungi...tum mujhe sange marmar samajhte ho...tho samajhte raho..mein tumhare saamne...reth ki deewar nahin bansakti...mujhe toot jaane se khauff aata hai...

"Kai saal pahle main apni zindagi mein aanewali har takleef par Allah ta'ala ko ilzaam diya karti, shikayaton ka ek dher tha, jo main har wakt uske saamne laga diya karti thi.

Mujhe hamesha is cheez ka afsos rahega ki main Allah ko galat samajhti thi, uski taqat aur hikmat ke baare mein galat andaaze lagaati thi.

Mujhe lagta tha ki Allah mujhse pyar nahi karta .. haalanki Allah to, hum sab se pyar karta hai.

Wo naimaten bhi deta hai aur aazmaata bhi hai. Lekin ye baat pata nahi jaldi samajh kyon nahi aati?"

"Zindagi bahut si ajeeb baaton ka ek majmuan hai .. ajeeb baatein, itefaqat, maujaze. Baaz dafa samajh nahi aati, agar isko ek jumle mein define karna pade, to woh kya hoga?

Kashaf : Baaz Logon Ko Allah Tala, Bohot Saari Cheezon Se Nawaaz Deta Hai. Daulat, Shohrat, Izzat Aur Kya Kuch? Kuch Ladkiyan Hoti Hi Itni Lucky Hain, Maa-Baap Ki Daulat, Aisho-Aaram, University Mein Izzat Aur Kissi Ki Attention. one from Numm😆 m assuming we can discuss other shows too, which havent aired😉

there is one episode where wali uses the lyrics of OST as the monologue to describe his feelings for mahjabeen..how intense, powerful and impactful was that☺️fawad literally sounds like vintage silsila days BigB in it..and whoever has penned down this one..just plain hats off

🤗 I love the sentences which start with "baaz dafa" it just sounds so impactful😉

almost everything kashaf says in the show, girls all over can relate to it..yeah this one too is so like real, like what all of us at some point or the other would have thought of⭐️..and also it had strong undercurrents of her being attracted to zaroon deep down😆

I Love you for bringing this up Buddy. 🤗 I love the OST of this Show and I've heard its version in Fawad's voice which makes it so Better..😳 His Voice like hot silk pouring down thru ur senses. 😳 One Of Aaja Sajna Miliye Juliye That I recently heard. Asghar : Agar Yeh Mangni Wali Baat Pehle Pata Hoti Toh Shabbo Ko Ghaas Hi Nahi Dalta! 😆 Asghari Ko Apne Pyaar Mein Paagal Kar Leta Aur Chacha-Chachi Ko Impress Kar Deta. 😆 Freezer Mein Padi Mangni 2 Minute Mein Oven Fresh Ho Jaati..!! 🤣🤣 Par Ab Kuch Toh Karna Padega, Asghari Se Meri Shaadi Ho Ke Hi Rahegi. kashaf ne ZAROON JAISA LADKA kyo kaha,zaroon jaise ladke se kya muraad(my urdu improves😊)kya is line se pata chalta hai kashaf bhi zaroon ko hamesha se chahti thi university ki dosri girls ki tarah...

IMO nahin...and I don't accept the argument that she mentioned him in her dairy so she already had some sort of feeling for him. She was bound to notice and mention him coz even without meeting him properly he came into her vision of thought coz she overheard him call her 'chrail awwal. And after that dey were always at loggerheads so he was bound to be on her mind more than her other classmates.
