Sardaarji Has Extraordinary First Week

Sardaarji has had a phenomenal first week collecting aroudn 15 crore nett in week one across India. The film has also collected $1.5 million overseas giving it a Worldwide Gross of 28 crore apprx. These sort of initial numbers have never been achieved by a Punjabi film before. In fact no film has even gone close.
The film is already the second highest grossing Punjabi film in just one week and the way it held up on weekdays it is set for a very good run till the release of Bajrangi Bhaijaan in a couple of weeks time.
The timing has also been beneficial as its rare to get a three week run with no major Hindi release in the way and the film running ABCD 2 being not so strong in the circuit.
