Jungle Mein Mangal - Part 4
"Ishita" he whispered urgently as he tried to move his body off hers,
conscious of his weight pressing on her, trapping her beneath him. She stirred
as he managed to roll off her, and then clung to him, landing on him. Now their
positions were reversed, her soft pliant body lying on his the earth hard
beneath him, darkness around him.
"Raman" she murmured, all formalities forgotten. After all, how can you
call a man Mr Bhalla when you are lying on him, your bodies entwined, a few
thin scraps of fabric the only thing between you?
"Are you okay?" he asked urgently, worried about the unusual softness
of her voice. He was used to her shouting and abusing him, but he was not used
to this quietness.
Ishita squirmed as she realised the position they were in, but then
stopped as she realised that her movements were sending strange feelings
coursing through her veins. She was scared, she was petrified actually, more of
him and her treacherous body then of the dark jungle. So Ishita did the one
thing instinct told her was the best form of defence - attack.
"This is all your fault" she hissed furiously, her face inches above
his. "All your fault, and now we are lost in some forsaken pit and God knows
how we will ever get out of it..."
She was so close that Raman could feel her breath on his face as she
spoke, so close that the thuds of her heart sounded as if they were his. He
could feel her softness, he could sense her fear. He knew he hated her,
detested her for her judgement of him as a father, her self-righteous attitude.
But God, he was so attracted to her. He wanted her. He needed her. And right
now, with her body on top of his, his last vestiges of self-control were lost.
So Raman did the one thing instinct told him was the best form of defence -
attack.
Meanwhile at Ruhi's function
"
Ruhi puttar, tu upset kyun hai?" {Why are you so upset Ruhi dear?}
Ruhi turned her big doe eyes towards her dadu. "Papa aur ishita aunty abhi tak nahi aaye dadu" {Papa and Ishita aunty still aren't here dadu}
"Aa jayenge puttar, tu tension na le. To ja apne friends ke saath apne
item ka taiyaari kar. Tera item last hai, tab tak who aa jayenge" {Don't worry dear, they will come. You go and prepare for your item
with your friends. You item is last, they will surely get here for it}
"Okay dadu"
And Ruhi ran off to join her friends backstage.
Back in the Jungle
Ishita was still talking, hissing furiously at Raman, when he tightened
his arms around her waist, rolling her back beneath him.
"Don't you ever shut up, junglee billi?"
She could make his face out in the darkness now, his eyes glittering down
at her. "No" she hissed. "And you cant make me"
In response he lowered his lips onto hers, grinding against her
softness as her voice died in her throat. She resisted furiously for a few
seconds but both her body and her heart were traitors today. She was drowning
in his lips. She could not help herself. She found herself responding, kissing
him back, straining against him. The only sounds that came from them were moans
as their lips and tongues fought for supremacy. Shivers of pleasure wracked
through their bodies as they deepened the kiss, She had never felt like this.
He had never felt like this. This was madness. This was heaven.
"Sahib, yahan toh koi aadmi fasa hai" {Sir, there's a man stuck here}
Raman and Ishita sprung apart as voices and footsteps were heard above
them. The next moment a torch was shone into their faces.
"Help" Ishita yelled, jumping up and away from Raman. "Nikalo hume
yahan se' {Get us out of here}
"Areh madam, hum ne yeh trap adamkhor sher ke liye banaya tha. Aap log
kaise fas gaye?" {Madam, we laid this trap for a man eating tiger. How did you people
get trapped in here?}
The next moment a ladder was being lowered into the pit and Raman and
ishita were hauled out. Apart from a few bruises and dirty clothes, they were
fine, and luckily, once Raman had explained their plight, the hunters were
happy to transport them to Ruhi's event. They had not looked at each other
after being hauled out and they sat self-consciously in their rescuers jeep,
their eyes averted, their hearts pounding.
In no time at all, they were at Ruhi's school and Ishita followed Raman
in, conscious of the curious stares directed at their disheveled
state. Thankfully the auditorium was dark and they managed to find seats at
the back. They sat stiffly, their bodies not touching, hoping they had not
missed Ruhi's performance and yet wondering what would have happened if they hadn't
been rescued just then.
Ishita touched her sore lips gingerly. She may have been saved from a
maneating tiger, but this man was equally dangerous. She glanced at him and
caught him staring at her and averted her gaze again. Raman smiled inwardly. Maybe
not a tiger, but he had surely been ravished by a jungle cat tonight.
The sound system diverted their attention and they both looked at the
stage.
"And now parents and friends" the MC was saying. "Please welcome Ruhi
Bhalla and Class IK as they present to you "Jungle Mein Mangal"
