USP of JYRG is ADITYA MEGHNA and the one of a kind love story. It's about their struggle, their understanding, their maturity and above all their friendship. They are madly in love with each other and are ready to die for each other. Now they are inseparable and face every obstacle together. They reached at this level after an uphill battle. It was Meghana's sincerity and honesty and Aditya's unbelievable understating and love for his wife that they made this journey together from Aloofness -> Acquaintance ->Friends ->Friends + Attraction -> Non realized Love ->Yet to accept Love ->Confession... Their initial awkwardness and duraava turned into beautiful friendship and Meghana's realization of true love for Aditya started a lifelong relationship were portrayed perfectly.

Along with AdiMegh (we fondly call them AD MD and AdiMegh to show our love), JYRG is also abt ekatra kutumbatil prem, apalepana, samanjaspana ani ekmekansathi kahihi karanyachi tayari. Nana Maincha vadildharepana ani upayukta 'dnynamrut', Archu cha balishpana, Amit Vijaya cha samanjasya, Babaji ani Mrs. babaji che mulichya sukahsathiche prayatna, bacche company chi dhamaal and barach kahi.

Other things about JYRG are its simplicity, togetherness, family concepts, no negative/khalnayaki mindset of characters, sweet interactions of everyone, happiness and staying strong during crises. It's about forgiving and accepting all with their flaws and making everyone feel comfortable in Desaiwadi.

Of course JYRG has its flaws and sometimes we don't like their too cheesy nature or mahaanata traits. Their OTT nature of helping anyone and everyone and caring too much about strangers do bother us. Their konachihi asu de mhais, Desai Kartil Uthbais' nature really reached its peak during Vichitra saga, the darkest period in JYRG.

But at the end of it, JYRG is a serial which brings smile to our faces and makes us happy to enjoy the happenings.

We love JYRG for Lalit and Prajakta and their awesome chemistry. LP-PM, as we fondly call them, are so amazing that their apratim chemistry makes them the best best pair ever. They act so natural and their togetherness scenes are always a treat to watch. They are so lovely, cute and sweet that words cant describe how we feel watching them together.

On this 500 episode celebration, we are eager to see DFamily together celebrating 100 years of their beloved DWadi with the core DFamily members. We are also awaiting for "THE" good news for AD MD and cute romantic scenes between the two.

On this occasion we wholeheartedly wish all the best to our beloved pair in their personal and professional lives and we look forward to their upcoming projects.

JYRG rocks and on forum we JYRGians rock much more! Happy 500th episode to JYRG and to all of us.

Meghana, a single child brought up under the thumb of her father, is set free from her cage when she arrives in Desaiwadi. A soft hearted uncertain girl believing that fate is deciding her journey through life is suddenly made to realize she can take fate in her own hands and shape it as she wants to. After the initial floundering under the new circumstances she gains confidence thanks to her strongest supporter, her husband Aditya Desai. From the early days where she accuses Aditya of trying to be God to the later days where she looks up to him as her God it is a journey of ups and downs for Meghana. With her newfound life in a joint family with supportive in laws bringing out the latent sweetness of Meghana she endears herself to all the family members and her doting husband. Her greatest assets - truthfulness and a helping nature. The Vatapoornima day confession is the culmination of her journey of realization that Aditya Desai is and can be the only man in her life. Even through all the troubled moments in her life, as a typical middle class girl brought up on high moral values, she continues to love her father and even acknowledges that but for his insistence she would not have met her one in million life partner.

Meghana, the

Nana Desai is Amit, Archana and Aditya's father. Very fun loving and charming person for his age, he just loves to call his wife "Morambyachi Barani". He loves his family very much especially his daughter whom he calls as Kokaru. Nana is very fair person by nature, equally cares for his Daughter In Laws and Son In Law. Nana is very famous for his "Dhnyanamrut". He is a very emotional person by nature, who breaks down easily after hearing about his friends health and Amit's hospitalization. It was Nana who told Mai not to sideline Meghana so much that Vijaya and Archana will feel bad about it. Once Nana comes to know about Meghana's fathers nature, Nana teams up with Meghana's mother and sends him to a psychiatrist. The engineer in him comes up with different ways to educate his grand children along with fun in innovative ways. It was Nana who had first recovered fast after the peti-prakaran had happened and told Mai that he appreciates Meghana for telling the truth to Aditya on first night of their marriage. As he is supports his sons in their career, he is equally supportive to his Daughters In Laws in their respective career.

Nana, the intellect

Mai aka Sanjeevani Desai is Amit, Archana and Aditya mother. Out of her three kids, Aditya is her most favorite. That is the reason she agrees for Aditya's marriage because he has liked Meghana, even if she has not liked Meghana initially. She loves her kids but she is not blind in that love towards them. She is more supportive towards her Daughter In Laws and Son In law. She knows her daughter, Archana is good by nature but is equally lazy. Mai keeps on preaching Archana, her Kokaru. Mai, who initially had not liked Meghana, develops a special bonding with Meghana once she realizes that her son loves Meghana like crazy. She is very understanding towards Meghana since she is not able to adjust in the house, unaware of the reason behind it. Mai becomes so close to Meghana, that she starts sharing all her childhood memories and secrets with Meghana, which she has not done with her kids also. One thing she doesn't like is lying or hiding things. Mai is hurt after peti-prakaran because her favorite Aditya had to go through all this and also because she had become very close to Meghana. But once Meghana proves that her love for Aditya is undying, Mai accepts her with all the more love. Mai loves her house and is devastated just by the thought of redevelopment of it. Like us viewers, Mai is eagerly waiting for her grand child from Aditya-Meghana, but still supports Meghana in her career choice and asks them to wait.

Mai,the Morambyachi Barni

Suresh Kudalkar is Meghana's father.He is called Babaji bcoz of his famous dialogue "Babaji Laksha Asudya" and his hand movement had got immense popularity at beginning. Suresh is a authoritarian person,when he decides something he gets it by hook or crook.His forceful decision not to allow Meghana to marry her the then boyfriend Aditya Nagarkar and forcing his wife to earn money via bribes and following the same thing,are some examples of his nature which makes him grey shaded character in otherwise white shaded Desai Wadi residents.He is far sighted though as his decision to marry Meghana with Aditya Desai turned out to be the most beautiful thing that happened to Meghana.Sureshrao is a superstitious character and bcoz of his tantrums, many a times he had given goose bumps to Meghana in past but now after around one and half year,he is somewhat changed. He started behaving like humans and now he is eagerly waiting for good news from Meghana like us the viewers.

Lakshya Asudya Babaji

Amit Desai is elder brother of Aditya and a desired son,brother,husband.He is mature enough to handle each and every situation.Pre-confession era he had observed there's some awkwardness between Aditya nad Meghana and he had raised his helping hand for it's betterment. He always takes care of everyone and spends quality time with his friend Satish,brother Aditya,sister Archu and wife Vijaya. He very much behaving like responsible father as well and gives advices to his son Pallav And daughter Sakshi when required and gives them lessons of reality check when kids starts behaving weirdly. In short Amit is one of the white shaded characters of JYRG.

Amit, the Big Brother

Vijaya Desai is Amit's wife and house wife who also works from home reg some embroidery and such stuff. She was the friend of Archu and Amit's college mate who later fell in love with him and then their love marriage took place.She didn't change since then and she still cares about her in-laws maybe that's the reason Desai family is still united. Like they say if a group of people live at a place ,some khatke udnarach and this also happened between Meghana and Vijaya at the time of Sakshi prakaran but Vijaya understood Meghana's stand.Like her husband Amit,she is also caring,loving,mature and good at heart makes her desired person. Her flaw as such is she doesn't take any stand,ho la ho ani nahi la nahi type,that was observed mainly at the time of peti prakaran.

Vijaya,the diplomat

Archana Dusane is aditya's sister and married to Satish Dusane.She is famous for her balishpana and childish behaviour.She is called ladavalela kokaru by Nana Mai is apt for her raddigiri which she sometimes drive nuts and she has opened private peti of Meghana which resulted into peti prakaran.Having such grey shaded trait,one must say she is good at heart.She never plans anything against anyone i,e No Katkarasthan and whenever she realises her mistakes she apologizes for her tantrums.She shares beautiful bro-sis bond with her brothers esp Aditya.Her marriage with Satish was also love marriage and she lives at her father's home but takes care her husband's self respect to be maintained though her kaam-chor type behaviour is one of the reasons why she prefers to be Aitoba.

Archana,the spoilt child

Satish Dusane is archana's husband and friend of Amit.He is having good sense of humour and he must be admired for handling a wife like archana who suffers from mood swings every now and then.He is another mature,sensible and white shaded character of JYRG.He takes care about others and tries to give some logical solution to everything. He stays in DWadi but he likes to maintain his self-esteem and you will find him resisting when Desais offer some help. He considers Meghana as his sister and Babaji's once bitter behaviour with him didn't make him to be bitter with Meghana,which makes him good human being.He is called boka by Archana and hence

Satish,the Boka

Madhavi Kudalkar is Sureshrao's wife and she used to be some scary cat infront of him. She accepted his wrongdoings and his authoritarian behaviour and brought up Meghana like that only.Neither she had some freedom in their house nor Meghana.She never took some stand and whatever Babaji says was paththar ki lakeer for her and Meghana.In this way because of Babaji's wish,Meghana was married to Aditya Desai against her wish and Madhavi didn't like it but she was another damsel who was to be rescued and later she changed and started growing some spine and left Sureshrao.This was the turning point and nowadays you can see her smiling while for so long her expressions were like someone had drunken Erandel juice and hence this smiley by NJ.

Madhavi,the Erandel

Aditya Nagarkar was boyfriend of Meghana and he wanted to marry with her and live life with her but Suresh Kudalkar used to call him phatkya chaddiwala bcoz he was not earning anything as such at that time.He is artist and like people in his category he was very careless about life and his future. He didn't take Meghana's warnings seriously and end result was he lost Meghana.When he had arrived to pick her,she was bonded with Aditya Desai as his wife and there he could have done tamasha to get her back but he didn't do anything like this.Then he moved away and didn't try to harass her or to Aditya Desai.Many few lovers have such big heart and when he had met Aditya,he never gave bad impression of Meghana,instead he said she will be happier with you.

1. First Meeting Episode - Episode No. 4 / Date 28-Nov-2013

Today Aditya and Meghana met each other the very first time. One side Aditya, who is reluctant for an arranged marriage and is against the so called "seeing" the girl and another side Meghana, who is in love with some other Aditya from her college. But still its destiny that they meet each other. The lost, worried Meghana bumps into Aditya who is bored and the cupid strikes for Aditya. While giving hand to falling Meghana, Aditya doesn't even realize that he himself has fallen in love with her. After that Aditya has totally lost interest in meeting the girl his family wants him to meet. But when that girl comes in front of him, he is just speechless. That girl is none other than Meghana. When Meghana tells him that "Majhya aagrahakhatar mi konala dukhavu shakat naahi", its a instant yes from Aditya for the marriage.

2. ADs decision in 2nd day of marriage (post puja) - Episode No. 27 / Date 24-Dec-2013

Aditya and Meghana were destined to be together. All of Meghana's effort to tell Aditya regarding her love have failed and she had to get married to Aditya against her wishes. But she doesn't want to lie to Aditya, in fact she can not lie to anyone. So Meghana has told Aditya regarding her past on first night of their marriage. She is prepared to face any consequences after that, though she doesn't know what is going to Aditya's reaction after this. But today Aditya took one decision which changed his and Meghana's life. His decision is to let Meghana decide on her future, whether she wants to continue in this marriage or she wants to go back to her first love. He doesn't want Meghana to remain married to him against her wishes. Meghana who has not been able to take a single decision of her life till now, is just speechless after hearing out Aditya.

3. First hand shake (when they become frnds) - Episode No. 55 / 25-Jan-14

After having lot of turbulence in their relationship Meghana has finally realized that Aditya is just trying to help her and be her friend. Once Aditya had extended his hand for friendship towards Meghana, which she had refused. Today Meghana has reasized value of that friendship and is extending her hand for friendship towards Aditya. "Moti tujhya dolyatun naahi, tujhya hasanyatun sandavet, ani tya motyanchya chaandanyani ghar bharun jave". "Daatlelya dhagaana dur karun surya achanakach disato". 4. HM2 Guitar Episode - Episode No. 176 / 11-Jun-14

Meghana who has been going though difficult time regarding her relationship and feelings regarding Aditya, is finally realizing her love for Aditya. She had agreed to come for this outing with Aditya without realizing that she has actually fallen in love with him. She is slowing getting aware of him in subtle way, getting attracted to him. She is not understanding herself what is happening to her and why she is having such feelings. She is very scared when she doesn't find him in their room in the morning but doesn't have any answer when Aditya asks her if she was scared because she was alone or because he was not beside her. She is just speechless to find that Aditya is leaning to swim just for her, when actually he is scared of water. When Aditya is teaching her guitar, she gets that final realization of her attraction and new found love towards him. Both of them are just lost into each other.

5. Confession - Episode No. 178 / 13-Jun-2014

Finally Meghana has taken her decision regarding her future. She has promised Aditya that she will let him know her decision after doing Vata Purnima pooja. As promised she tells her decision to Aditya "Ek mitra mhanun tu majhyasathi bharbharun kelas Aditya. Pan matre kadhich ekatarphi nasate. Maitritala to dilasa, aaj mi tula denar aahe". "Kahihi na bolata vyakta jhalelya tujya premane, jinkalay mala Aditya. I love you, majha tujhyavar prem aahe".

6. Pedhe - Episode No. 200 / 9-Jul-2014

Today is a very special day for Aditya-Meghana. After a long wait they are finally able to consummate their marriage and become husband-wife in real sense. Both of them are extremely happy today to have found this bliss and not able to keep that happiness to themselves. Everyone in their family realizes that they are extremely happy today, but only both of them know the real reason of it.

7. Peti Prakaran - Episode No. 216 / 27-Jul-2014

Meghana who is now immensely happy with Aditya wants to share truth regarding her past with Desai family, for which Aditya is not ready. Today Aditya-Meghana have gone to Meghana's parents house to have dinner with them. Bajaji, Meghana's father is having discussion with Aditya when he comes to know that, Aditya has known truth regarding Meghana's past since the first night of their marriage. He is shocked and tells Aditya his reasons for not sharing the past with them. Aditya realizes that he is doing the same mistake what Meghana's father has done. He is also hiding Meghana's past from his family. Aditya agrees with Meghana to share the truth with their family on the same night. On the other side, Archana, Aditya's sister finds the carved box which Aditya Nagarkar had gifted to Meghana in which she has kept his photos, gifts, etc. She is shocked to see this and shows the box to everyone.

8. Gachhi Date - Episode No. 305 / Date 5-Nov-14

Today Meghana is upset with Aditya for missing their date yesterday and going out with Chitra. Aditya is trying hard to make amends by sending Meghana flowers, card. Aditya has made special arrangements on their terrace for their date tonight. He has decorated the terrace for this special date. Meghana is looking very beautiful in a bright red saree comes to terrace and is happy to arrangements done by her Aditya. Though her anger is gone already, Meghana is just showing Aditya that she is still upset with him. After some ruthana manana, they are finally happy to enjoy their special date together.

9. Saat phere repeat on gacchi - Episode 345 / Date 23-Dec-2014

Aditya and Meghana are celebrating their first marriage anniversary today. Aditya who loves Meghana and is sensitive to all her moods, knows that Meghana has not been able to involve mentally in their marriage, what she has experienced in their marriage is just tension. He wants Meghana enjoy those special moments now. So Aditya has made special arrangements on their terrace to celebrate this occasion with Meghana. Meghana is just speechless after seeing all these arrangements. Aditya applies Haldi and Mehendi to Meghana. They repeat their Saat Phere after that. Aditya repeats his first six promises to Meghana "Atut Prem, Gaadh Vishvas, Samanjas Sahacharya, Vatsal Kutubajeevan, Ekatra Swapnancha, Jeevalaganchya Sobaticha". Meghana gives her seventh promise to Aditya "Sarvaswacha. Aayushyat Sansaraat, Aayushyat konatahi sankat aale tar tya sankatala aadhe mi samori jain, agadi mrutyula suddha. Karan tu maze sarvaswa aahes Aditya, maza shwas aahes, maza pran aahes. I love you."

10. 2nd Vata Purnima - Epsiode No. 484 / 3-Jun-2015

Today Aditya and Meghana are celebrating first anniversary of Vata Purnima, a very special day for them because last year on this day Meghana had given declaration of her love to Aditya. They are just lost into each other today and reliving those memories of last year. "Tu mala bhetlis tevhapasun daravalto aahe ha mogara". Aditya is remembering Aditya Nagarkar and wants him also to find happiness with someone, the way Aditya-Meghana have found their happiness with each other.

Today I will be discussing about our beloved Aditya-Meghan. How much ever we talk about Aditya-Meghana and their incredible love for each other, it's less.

They love each other so much that it is hard to believe that they started their life together on a negative note. Aditya, the fun loving, youngest of the family was not ready for an arranged marriage. He was very uncomfortable with the concept to go and meet the girl for some time with family and say yes / no to her in that short period. Meghana was in love with some other Aditya from her college. But still for the sake of their respective families, they met each other. Their first meeting was very unconventional. Aditya was bored with the whole concept of "seeing" the girl and also because the girl in question was taking long to come, came out of the house. At the same time, Meghana, all lost in herself because she is not able to contact her dear Aditya, was coming to house. Meghana, who is totally lost in her own agony, just bumps into Aditya. Aditya who tries to support falling Meghana, just can not take his eyes off her and falls head over heels in love with her. On the other side, Meghana just understands someone has saved her from falling right, says sorry to Aditya and goes inside the house. So this is how their journey together began.

Since Aditya and Meghana were always Destined To Be Together, they got married against all the odds and Meghana entered in Desai Wadi as Meghana Aditya Desai. On the other hand Aditya was unaware of Meghana's first love. Meghana who doesn't want to start her relationship with Aditya with a lie, shares the truth of her past with her husband. Aditya, who is initially devastated to hear the truth, doesn't want to force Meghana into their marriage. One decision taken by Aditya changed their lives forever. Aditya asks Meghana to take decision about her future, whether she wants to be married to him or go back to her first love. He asks Meghana to take her time and decide on her future without any burden from his side.

There were lots of ups and downs in their relationship. But the strong friendship bond which they shared helped them in overcoming the initial discomfort, anger, hurt and develop the trust, mutual understanding, respect and undying love for each other. This same friendship made them sensitive to each others feelings.

Once Meghana finds her true love in Aditya and accepts him as her husband, their happiness knew no boundaries. The bond of friendship which they shared has become more strong now and along with that, the incredible love they share for each other. Its because of this love, they are not able to live without each other. They also know that no one will be able to come in between them now and together they can overcome any problem which may come in their lives.

So let us all give best wishes to Aditya-Meghana and wish that their love for each other grows more day by day.
