What was so bad about the dance?

I finally managed to catch up on Monday's epi today and I'm astounded over all the negative backlash for the MaNan dance bit...cuz seriously after watching it I'm wondering was it really that bad? What exactly was SO horrendous about it?


Has editing EVER been good in KY2? Nope😆

Has choreography ever been good in KY2? Nope😆

Are PaNi supposed to be dance pros? Nope😆


Keeping all this in mind, they still did a decent job and I did not see the chemistry ever faltering...


In fact they had an oddly endearing waltzy vibe to it probably cuz Parth always ends up taking that stance to LEAD the whole thing😆...but cute they were...the height difference and the chemistry does the rest :P

Kudos to both for pulling it off with such intensity :-)

What didn't work for me was that it wasn't the norm and felt out of scripts, regardless they still pull it off...

Personally did not think the dance was bad. The chemistry was good the moves were not bad either. The song and editing spoilt it for me I am sure if they had used some other song It would have been okay:)

LOL honestly by the time I got to watching the epi, even the song didn't jar me...it wasn't that off beat as everyone was describing since the past two days...editing was just as sketchy as usual KY2 standards are...nothing really that dramatically off the mark in my opinion *shrugs*


And PaNi were their usual endearing kiddo selves in terms of chemistry😆

Not sure about that...this dance was more or less similar to the Ishq Wala Love dance IMO...stiffness levels are still the same😆

He still holds her in the same way...just that that sequence was obviously more intense in terms of expressions from both of them.


Arey MaNan are in pause mode toh filler stuff hi chalega...neither the dance or today's bench scene flowed with the script IMO...bench scene toh was even more jarring for how out of the blue it happened and the way Nandu randomly got up and left😆

Frankly I found the editing pathetic even by kyy standards. There have been good days. And because of that choreo seemed disjointed. I accept Parth n Niti are not pro but editing sucked. I wasnt happy woth the camera angles too. Like I said there have been good days.

LOL no honestly, I didn't even need expectation adjustment to watch this...the LEVEL of backlash was such, I was expecting something truly horrendous but honestly there have been far FAR worse epis in KY2...when there has been almost utter lack of substance in a bit as well *cough* FC *cough*

This was still decent by those standards...maybe what I'm trying to say is that KY2 has done a pretty solid job of long term expectation adjustment for me thanks to the mahaan FC track...lol...and when it comes to their "dancing" toh I never even expect much different from MaNan...inka yehi level hai😆...the wave was a rare fluke😆


Editing honestly didn't feel that different from usual KY2 standards to me...it's the story itself that's in a bit of a "leisure" mode if you will since these epis were about the pool party and Haryaman's lame plans essentially.

LOL how can the emotions be same for every dance? And you all ranted SO much about lack of chemistry...toh ab bolo where is the chemistry missing in these gifs? I honestly feel the angst DID come through😊


I honestly never thought highly of their earlier performances also...so sue me😛
