Yea true.Delhi's lifestyle is kinda expensive too 😕
Sid also mentioned in some print IV,his parents knew Manish Malhotra from earlier..ie even before he got into modelling I suppose.

People like Sid and Ranveer paint the picture of struggling, middle class outsider and run with the narrative, while in reality they have enough of resources which an average person would lack. Later you find out that their parents had enough money to fund their movies 😆

If that was the case I don't think he would spend such a long time in Mumbai sharing apartments with other strugglers to get a break.
Quite an exaggeration! 😆

Mallika Sherawat did the same. Nothing new. It's taught by their PR.

He's mentioned in interviews that he grew up in Defense Colony, which has been described as an affluent neighborhood. He's also mentioned living with several guys in an apartment in Mumbai and at one point getting their electricity cut off because none of them had enough money, or lying to annold movie producer and going for a modeling shoot because that check would cover his rent for a few months. He did not grow up destitute as he's openly talked about family vacations overseas. But I also don't think he lived the life of luxury before SOTY.

He is definitely from an affluent background..But I dont think his dad is rich or interested enough to finance BW movies..Or else Sid wouldnt cling to Kjo camp so badly😕😆...Yea mostly every outsiders PR tries to picture their struggler days story similar to that of SRK's..Sushant's PR especially tries way too hard with the whole TV-BW transformation angle😆

He could belong to an affluent family and still be poor in his struggling days. My family is rich but I am supporting myself at the moment, saving money for school, working 3 jobs. So its possible he is telling truth.

I was also thinking that i remember him saying he grew up in Def Col, so obviously he had a great childhood with all the luxuries...he isnt from middle class background...probably from upper middle class at the most but i doubt even that... Def Col is in south Delhi and its mostly rich people who live there... No way hes from poor background... But it might be possible that his parents did not support his dreams and thats why he had to struggle alone with no money... That could be the only explanation otherwise no parent who has the capacity, will send their kid to sustain on their own without money or food
