If we can have movies about the common man, why not another one here and there from another strata of Indian society?

Why do we always try to paint everyone with a single brush stroke? 
If we can have a Dabangg about Chulbul Pandey, why can't we have a Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara or DDD about a family who's from a minority strata but still very much part of Indian society?
We can have 1000 testosterone infused one man beats up 10 others dishoom dishoom type films, but a film like DDD instantly gets labeled obnoxious? 

This is called variety people.

No problem with it, but that Zoya Akhtar herself really isn't as varied as a director as she portrays to be. Her films are based on the same content as her previous films, just as Rohit Shetty and the like do. Nothing particularly new from her

I loved it.chic,classy trailer. I remember ppl dismissed znmd too.anyhow zoya flicks are more for overseas audience.
