Thoughts on Purvi's scene (4-16-15)

I liked how Purvi exposed some favortism (because let's face it, there IS some!).

Still, this was no way to insult Sarla Ma. Okay, Abhi and Purvi MIGHT be in some plan together, but this is NO excuse. I hated the fact that basically she called Sarla Mom status hungry. And that Sarla Ma "favors Pragya" for the fact that she got married into a big household. Purvi crossed all limits. I also didn't like how Abhi was eavesdropping on all this. Really embarrassing.

I think Purvi is going to turn evil, honestly. Her concluding comment towards Pragya and the Aroras (and us) foreshadows that she will be back with proof (the way she said it made it seem that she's had enough).

Back to the favortism point, I want to refute myself because actually Purvi is very lucky. She gets to live there for free, she got her education paid for, and she gets everyone's love. She's only a naukarani's beti. And she gets all this.

I truly feel sad for the situation Purvi is in, but I cannot see her react this way. Anybody, would believe the proofs more than Purvi the way it was delivered.

it is really bad how they make some of the characters turn out..purvi was always loving..hardworking..and I believe she was well loved in return..it is rather unfortunate that they have turned her into this predicament...why..no one knows...it makes no sense and will continue to make no sense at all...there should not have been any animosity between pragya and purvi..even if the police had to take her...there should have been a bond of believe remaining between them..so pragya would continue to find a way to help purvi prove her innocence...this storyline is unbelievably disgusting...the only hope now is that somehow mitali get a little sense and realize that she needs to reveal the truth...because no matter how extremely 'stupid' she is..she must realize that if the situation arises..Aliyah will put her straight into the line of fire...on another note..Aliyah went to visit the cooperator in jail...no one took any notice of this..or all the police were sleeping or they knew she was coming and left the door open for her...such seriously flawed scenes...

I agree on couple things you said that the status thing was out of her character but she was right on few points regarding that Sarla's paritality towards her own daughters like blaming younger one for problems in the marriage of Elder daughter come on thats unfair, I understand she was worried for Pragya's marriage but blaming your own daughter is not the solution of the problem

I feel sad for this twist as Purvi is one of my favorite characters from the beginning but to be honest beyond feeling sad for the unfair situation I did not give it much thought because I believe that it is just a convenient track ,,Charu ( Purvi ) has a role in another show and she is not much needed in KKB right now so they came up with this track to make time for her..her future in the show will be determined according to the circumstances so if they needed her to be evil they will do it if not they will prove her innocent and make her forgive the Arora's ..actually she may not even come back to the show ,,I watched some shows where some characters disappear without explanation sometimes ,,so dear for all this I did not give this Purvi situation much thinking

I had to rewatch the scene to see what she said and I was just appalled at the way she insulted everyone.

What she put out there was what was in her heart and it should be pointed out to the family but the way she said it was rude and insensitive. She could have protested her innocence w/o insulting the people she's grown up with. That being said, Aroras don't get a clean chit either, they should have stood by her.

I just think they've done this to pave way for her as a negative character- hisab lena hai aapse she said.

Things are not looking good, if and when she does strike.

Purvi is damn right (in terms of the favoritism part)...I think she was probably disappointed that they would believe something like that after seeing the evidence. Don't get me wrong, of course any1 in the Aroras place would have doubts after seeing evidence like that but at the same time wouldn't you question certain things...after all they did take care of her with love and she gave them love in return...I thought they were at least wise.

@Nuha: I did not know that the girl who played Purvi needed time off for another show. Thank you for the info Nuha! Honestly, I think that's a really lame thing. They should've just sent Purvi to London for further studies or something. I hope this track doesn't take too long to clear up. And omg LOL Nuha! Too good! Indestructible CCTV can you are 😆

@all: I agree with those of you who have said that the Aroras should have believed her, since they've been a close-knitted family since the beginning. Purvi, BB, and Pragya have grown up together. And even when Pragya was blamed for the MMS issue, all the Aroras plus most of the mehras believed that Pragya could not do such a thing. So why not now?

Part of the reason why I think that everyone had believed Pragya was because the majority of the family had not actually "seen" the mms clip. They'd only heard about it, and as Abhi said, "There is a difference between actually hearing about proof and seeing it."

The Aroras had seen the money, the letters, and the so called "Private detective" against Purvi.

It's not easy to just trust. Especially when the story was so clear-sounding and all proofs seemed pretty legitimate. Aaliya is just THAT good at trapping.

Even Neel's narration literally correlated with the original story. Everything had made sense in Pragya's mind (going by her FBs). Even if Purvi doesn't know the MM very well, she still knew where BB was hiding.

Maybe favortism also takes a part here. But that's very considerable. We all know that Sarla Mom has a soft corner for Pragya because of all the struggles she's been through (rejection, sister being "prettier", etc.) Purvi had no such thing happen to her. Neither has Bulbul. Infact, they've gotten a lot. Purvi should have at least respected the fact that The Aroras have done a lot for her and her mom.

As Dee said, she was being insensitive.

I think Purvi's anger to Arora was not that they did not believe her but more than that they believed outsiders and that made her more angry, I agree that Pragya went through lot of struggles and we know they will not be over till the end and Bulbul will join her soon when she will get married according to the theme of show, but yeah the tone was not good of Purvi

Abhi, I am not sure if he has planned something with Purvi. But by the looks of it, doesn't look like he bought this argument that Purvi is guilty.
