What should I name today's episode?? I am in a lot of doubt...coz it TOTALLY looked like they had booked today's episode to 'RIGHT' all the things they had done 'WRONG' in the past...
For example, WHO in this daily soap obsessed nation would have thought YHM CVs would take such a ROUNDABOUT way of showing a mother truly loves her daughter??
The scriptwriters tried to justify the build-up around the 'mystery woman' who 'kidnapped' Ruhi... the build-up wasnt even worth laughing at...
I mean, pehle se hi pata tha ki yeh punya kaam Sujata ne hi kiya hoga...
but then Raman couldn't find her...though he looked around everywhere...Shagun kept standing outside the school premises, with her saree pinned up in that stately fashion, not a hair out of place, and muttering SHE has to do something to find Ruhi...except that she did NOTHING..except stand there like a mannequin and make calls...
Ishita gets to know and asks Mihika to take her to the school... Raman plans to lodge a complaint in the police station...
Ishita tries to go inside the school premises to look for Roo, but Shagun said she has already looked around (really? didnt see her doing that!) and she isnt going to find Roo there anyway...
NOW, HERE is where the REAL drama starts...
Ishita finds the unique cartoon-wala pencil lying on the ground and picks it up...asks Mihika to go look around and see if Roo's things are lying here and there...
Mihika comes back and informs her Akka, ki "Ruhi ne 10- 10 metre ke distance mein apni stationery chhodi hai"
and then BOOM! Ishita realises Roo has left TRAILS for her to find her out
From an urban show portraying lives tangled in a custody battle, it became A MYSTERY show, with a harrowed mother trying to look for hr daughter...I was thinking, WHY on earth wud Roo leave trails, when (as per the guard's version) she left the school happily with the 'lady'...
????
Wahan Romi recalls Sujata's conversation he overheard sometime back, and tries to follow her...calls up Bala and asks him about her address.confided in him, as regards her doubts regarding Sujata...Bala confirms if he has shared the news with Raman...Romi says no...In the meanwhile, Sujata arrives at Bala's place with Roo, and Bala was flustered for lying to the Bhallas, he tried to fib saying Sujata toh acchi hain, woh toh madad kar rahi hain Ishita ki...Ruhi yells out to Bala, showing him her colouring box...BALA tries to shut out her voice, by keeping his palm on the phone...but by that time Romi has already heard Roo's voice...
Bala makes a bahana of network problem and disconnects the call...With Roo sent inside, Bala tells Sujata that Romi has started doubting them...WHAT IS THIS BIG NATIONAL SECRET BALA IS FORCED TO KEEP? AND BE A PART OF? I MEAN, ISNT VANDU AROUND TO BE GETTING A WHIFF OF ALL THIS??
What was PREPOSTEROUS, for me atleast, was the way Ishita and Mihika went about looking for "clues" Roo had left behind...to trace her...raste ke side pe, road pe, jagah jagah, Ruhi ke pencils, hair clips aur pata nai kya kya pada hua tha...I dunno...was it me or was it OTT enuff to not move me? Nor did DT's urgency in tracing her daughter move me nor did this whole trail business make sense to me...
Raman and Shagun are fighting in the car, much like a husband-wife😡 He gets a call and comes back home...to find Roo in Bhalla House...
In the meanwhile, Ishita's detective skills have landed her on her doorstep itself...as she is shocked to see Roo there...Bala and Sujata are also there
Ruhi said she was playing Chor Police...and on whose bidding? Sujata, the activist who has SO MUCH FREE TIME to make an innocent 6 yr old do crazy things just to test if her mother loves her or not
"Sory Raman...meri galti hai...maine hi Ruhi ko school se pick up kiya tha..." and then she told everybody how SHE had convinced Roo to be a part of this stupid 'Chor Police' game and leave trails...if her Ishima could pick up on the trails and find her, it means she really loves her...and what did Raman do? He smiled. that's it!
In real life, any parent would have first bitten Sujata's head off for trying such an idiotic thing! WHO DOES THAT? WHO IS WRITING THE SCRIPT YAAR??
Apparently, Sujata went to speak to Ruhi when she was busy making a hand-made card for her Raman Papa..."sirf papa ke liye kyun? parents ke liye kyun nai?' I dunno why, but the way she asked this qs to Roo, made me damn uneasy..it was as if she was pitting both her parents against each other...
Whatever might be the vamp's ulterior motives, Shagun's reaction was the ONLY one that was SPOT-ON...She yelled at Sujata, saying "aise hi koi kisi ke bacche ko utha ke le jaata hai kya?" Seriously...that is what I was thinking when Sujata gave an Ishita-like speech and NOT ONE person in BHALLA HOUSE batted an eyelid...
First pertinent qs that SHOULD have come in Ishita's mind is - This woman knows me for BARELY 3 days now...WHY THE HECK IS SHE TAKING THE TROUBLE OF DOING ALL THIS FOR ME?
And Raman - just because Ishu and Ruhi hugged and professed their love for each other, he forgot all his suspicions regarding Sujata
Romi will be a FAILED detective, if EVER he takes up this profession..I mean, he HEARD the woman talking to someone over the phone, discussing Ruhi...why is NO ONE WORRIED THIS WOMAN IS SUDDENLY EVERYWHERE AROUND ISHITA? IS HOVERING AROUND HER CONSTANTLY?? Bunch of fools they are!😡
Ruhi got back to retorting at Shagun Mamma, saying she couldnt even TRY to find her...so she shouldnt be saying mean things to her Ishima
"Tumhen yaad hai naa court mein kya hua tha?" she reminds Roo
The ONLY good thing that came out of the episode was, Ishita FINALLY made Ruhi understand WHY she chose Adi over her...because the doctor said Adi bhaiyya needed love and care and a protected environment (NEVER MIND, she forgot to mention ki tumhare Adi Bhaiyya ab tak ek baar bhi counselling session mein nai gaye hain)...sometimes people have to act according to circumstances...Roo baccha khush...Toshi's chest swelled with happiness coz GKL is also back home...
and in the meantime, GKC also comes back home...Shagun runs to him, hugs him asking how he is... instead of replying to her, he runs to Raman and hugs him (but he didnt ask his dad - Papa, aapne ek maheene mein mujhe EK BAAR bhi call nai kiya? Mere baare mein toh chinta ki nai ek bar bhi...Toh faltoo mein Roo ko Shagun Mamma ke paas bhejne ki zaroorat hi kya thi?!!)
Toshi showered his face with wet kisses...Adi greets Ishita, all smiling and happy...I have to say, he looks nice with this new hairdo...he greets his sister as well
and then, Shagun looked at all the wet kisses being showered on both her kids, and the Bhallas happy...Shagun got back to the SAME OLD DIALOGUE - Ruhi, chalo ghar chalte hain...
Roo refused, saying she will stay right there in Bhalla House..and will tell the judge how she shifts her from this place and that
"Behave yourself Ruhi, court ne tumhen MUJHE diya hai" Yeah right, Roo is a ping-pong ball, throw her around😡
Raman opens his mouth and says Ruhi wont go with her if she doesnt want to...Sujata pitches in her support as well...
and then Shagun reminds everybody of the "deal"
"Deal yeh thi ki agar Adi yahan raheha, toh Ruhi MERE saath jayegi"
"Shagun yeh bacche hain, koi deal nai...Adi hamara beta hai...woh yahin rahega" Ishita said... HOW IS ISHU SO PATIENT AND SWEET ALL THE TIME?? I'd have made sure Shagun look up a dictionary for the things I'd have uttered😡
and then, the SAME REDUNDANT SHITTY DIALOGUE - Adi, chalo mere saath...waise bhi, yahan kisi ko tumhari parwah nai...HAVE THE CVs DELIBERATELY kept her lines the exact same whenever she deals with either of her kids?? She said the sme thing to Roo, and now she said the exact same thing to Adi...W*F...Why cant she shove her face somewhre? get so pissed...
She warns Ishita - tumhen mere DONO bacche mujhse chheen liye...ab main tumhen nai chhodungi...
And we all know what she's gonna do next - COLLABORATE with Subbu...YUCK
We will NEVER have respite from her...Never..😔
PRECAP - Ishita, Roo and Adi are busy playing the pillow game in the bed...Raman watches them lovingly, clicking pictures of the happy trio
P.S. I HATED the 'Hansel-and-Gretel' game Ishita became a part of...the CVs could have chosen a hundred other ways to show Ishita dearly loves her daughter...They simply made it TOO OTT...Does it even happen in real life??
Ishita went to meet Roo on the sets with a broken leg, went to give her a file containing imprtant notes for her exam, sent her lunch everyday from home...that was not enuff to prove her Ishima's love for her? And this silly game, that actually warranted Sujata a good verbal dose, made Ruhi believe her Ishima loves her the most...Wow...how ORIGINAL
P.S. 2 Raman, either you DOUBT Sujata or you dont...he wasnt worried...or looked angry, not even a second! How unnatural!
