Sakshi: I dont think anyone would attempt Game Of Thrones in India

Not a long time media circuit was abuzz with rumours stating that Sakshi Tanwar has been cast in the Indian remake of Game Of Thrones. However, the Bade Ache Lagte Hai actress says that she has been offered the show, but it's not based on the infamous American show. Excerpts from the interview:

Are you doing the period drama Rani Mahal on Sony? The channel sources confirm it...

I have been offered the show but it's in very initial stages. It's an interesting concept but nothing is confirmed as yet.

The social media is full of your pictures and parody videos about the show being based on Game of Thrones...

No it's not. I don't think anyone would even think of attempting Game Of Thrones in India yet.

Recently the social media was abuzz with news about you tying the knot. What is your reaction?

Why would I react to a rumour? Someone decided to get me married without my knowledge and forgot to invite me!

Earlier there were reports about you doing a TV show co-starring Ronit Roy...

In the last six months, I was reported to do three big shows. I get offers to do TV shows on a regular basis. Some of them are interesting concepts, but that does not mean I am doing them. I guess it is assumed that if I like the concept, I am doing it. It's not important what shows were offered to me and why I didn't do them. What matters is who is doing them now.

So what is keeping you busy these days?

At present I am only busy with Code Red and my various ad shoots
