Manik's predatory instincts get automatically engaged whenever there is playful wrestling around b/w them...then he has to pin her and get that gleam in his eyes...duniya jaaye bhaad mein...iska bas chale toh he'd have his way with her then and there.

@minimits - They mentioned it's been 6 months . Nandini is 17 as far as we know. We will have to take it on the face value and yes it is not right to ogle or have intentions for her. He randomly started creeping out on her. They haven't had any conversations beyond him scolding her and it is bound to influence his behaviour towards his student that is Nandini. Acting on those intention will make it criminal because they will be against Nandini's consent . And thinking about her also is wrong , just like Soha's hallucinations were, though in her case she was sick.

@ So it will be Manik in the end who might push Nandini musically because this incident will leave her reeling and confused for sometime. Also the concert's success might change many things.

The reason why age matters is for the simple reason that they are kids and its very easy for an adult to manipulate and groom them in such a way that they dont realise what is wrong before its too late.

There is a reason why teenagers are considered teenagers and adults adults and why teenagers are not allowed to vote, marry, drive unless they are of legal age. Because they don't have the maturity to understand and not be led. If teenagers can be led by teenagers, how difficult is it for an adult with intelligence to lead them?

And being an adult teacher with a young student, the onus of responsibility is on you not to have or act on such feelings and he did give her a once-over.
