ShaTima's lies- protecting Suhani or prolonging her pain?

After the last 2 episodes, I had to ask this question:

I think it's bad they lied to Suhani it willbe bad in the future

No doubt ShaTima loves suhaani whole heartedly but sorry to say they are acting selfish in my opinion. They are thinking only about yuvraaj's future but what about suhaani they are making suhaani suffer in this relationship. No doubt yuvraj can never get a gem like suhaani but what about suhaani they are not thinking about her. They want suhaani to suffer all the humiliations and taunts from DaRagmen. They never think about what actually has suhaani gained by staying in this relationship. sorry to say if pratima really thinks about suhaani as her daughter then she would have told the truth to suhaani. For me she loves suhaani but not more than yuvaaj.

Although ShaTima have Suhani's best interests at heart, love her completely and are just trying to help her, I don't think their lies are working anymore. I feel their lies are just prolonging her suffering by exposing her to more and more vile attacks by the Phateechars.

Unfortunately, their lies will prick Suhani like a dagger to the heart, when the truth comes out. She will realise that EVERYONE lied to her. 😭😭😭 She will be shattered that she listened to ShaTima's reassurances when she realises they were FALSE.

I think ShaTima are doing what they think is right, but Suhani will be massively HURT when she finds out. 😭😭😭 Just thinking about it gives me goosebumps.

I think that Sharad and Pratima should sit Yuvraj down and have a long and serious talk about his marriage to him. They should ask him whether he can ever fall in love with Suhani, can he ever reciprocate to her feelings and how does he visualise his marriage shaping up in the future.
Yuvraj needs to be asked some HARD questions, so that he makes HARD decisions. ShaTima can not forever play this childish game of hide and seek, matchmaking and expect Suhani to do all the work.

I applaud them for the commitment and love they are showing to Suhani. Personally, I think they are the only ones in BH who care for and love Suhani completely, but I'm tired of this vortex of lies.

Pratima is allowing suhaani to stay in a loveless marriage what if yuvraaj never falls for suhaani they can't force yuvraaj to love suhaani. Foe me they are not doing any good to suhaani by hiding the truth it will hurt her more once the whole truth is out.

@bold- I had this though too. They think YuvAni are right for each other and Suhani is the perfect partner for Yuvraj, but it's important for YUVRAJ to think that too. No amount of such thinking by ShaTima can change his feelings.

@bold2- Well, it's impossible for a mother to love someone else more than her own child. Expecting her to love and think of Suhani as much as Yuvi is unrealistic. I also think that ShaTima should do more in terms of ensuring that Suhani is not tortured by the Phateechars, but I guess fellow victims like them can only do so much in that regard. They also are victimised by Dadi and currently, do not have the courage to stand up to her. All the Birlas are just too used to the status quo and don't bother to change it.😔

I think ShaTima have the traditional idea that marriage is a permanent institution, so their main aim is to ensure it survives, no matter what. As you said, they need to realise that Suhani is suffering in this marriage and has not gained anything out of it. Rather, she is being set up for the biggest shock of her life. 😭😭😭 I wonder when ShaTima will have this thought and just think to put Suhani out of her misery.

Yes, that's why I didn't mention him as well. I DO NOT think he is on the list of people who care about Suhani, YET. I think ShaTima have appropriate reactions to her pain, he doesn't. They get hassled, worried and do everything to make her smile.

@bold- Yes, such a murky truth can not be kept under wraps for long. It will eventually come out and they're kidding themselves if they think it won't. Also, even if it didn't come out, was Suhani supposed to live in a loveless marriage forever? What about Yuvraj's behaviour? 😕😕

If you see, today's episode was very symbolic in that Suhani's breakdown didn't come at BH, but came at her home where there are ACTUAL people who care for and love her. 😭😭

I was very disappointed with sharad today. Coz suhani asked him straight out if he knew anything and he lied. It was 1 thing b4 when they kept it from her coz she knew nothing. Bt its another thing where they are lying to her on her face. And she is so sweet she believed them never once did she doubt although she still had doubts. Today for me sharad didn't do his duty as her brother he should have told her the truth. And later on he will tell her a half truth and again that is also wrong. The cvs shouldn't have made him lie to her coz this does spoil their r/ship. I always thought that if he didn't take sides or lied eventually when she left yuvraj she could she would eventually accept him coz he didn't lie he just omitted the truth bt nw I dnt feel like he will ever leave his guru and ever be with her. Probably if they keep that snake in the show they will eventually pair them off so that when suhani comes back into yuvi's life there is a link btw them bt the link btw her and sharad wnt be that strong anymore. As for prats she loves suhani bt as sudhi said she is thinking ab yuvi's happiness mostly. She knows that with suhani yuvi can become the person he truly is and he just needs time to accept her and she truly sees suhani as totally loveable and that any1 can fall for her if they be with her. Prats does loves her from her heart from the minute she saw her she wanted her as her bahu, as her daughter. Suhani truly brings her happiness. Its so hard to say that she is wrong coz of this love. She loves yuvani both she does not want them to get hurt. Bt I think again she has got to open her eyes and look at things from suhani's pt of view she is genuinely unhappy nw that she has gotten a sniff that something is wrong. She cnt keep suhani as a pretty baby away from all things that can make her unhappy. Suhani isn't a child she is a grown woman she needs to know what's going on in her life. I just think all that all the ppl around her have been unfair to her and made her weak coz of their lies
