Varun's movie trailer itself can give Sid's entire movie a run for its money in terms of acting is concerned

Varun by light years. His Raghu was such a complex character, so many shades, emotions and to top it all the story follows him in two different stages of life set apart by 20 years.

The transformations that he goes through in the movie are startling, both physical and emotional. From a carefree young lad whose world is turned upside down to a man obsessed with Revenge and then to a man defeated, left without a purpose in the end; it is just amazing.

And Its not just Raghu's expressions and look, its the diffrenence in the way he walks(with his back bent), talks, the whole body launguage during diffrent years of his life; that adds another dimension to this performance. Varun nailed it, seriously good.

The less said about Sidharth the better. He was as mediocre as they come in EV. Had the same body language, expressions throughout the whole movie.

The way Varun said this line "Murder keliye" is better than everything Sid did during the entire length of EV.

From those two performances, Varun anyday!

Although Sid's Brothers and Varun's Badlapur would probably be a better comparison.

Thank God It was Shraddha and her 'aee villain" act in EV. Made Sid look like a great actor just by her presence. If it were Yami or Huma this comparison would have been even worse.
