But if they felt that she was putting the child in danger why did they not go after her to back her up?

During Jyothi marriage Anandi informed Singhs that she was going to that village and Singhs rushed to that place to provide back up support

Haven't seen the episode so can't comment much but it looks like natural initial reaction from anyone.

Didn't Anandi react when Shiv forgot to pick up Amol? Had Shiv done that purposely?

That's because maybe Shekhars are not used such situations like the Singhs, and they are on the phone with Anandi. Shekhars are not to blame at all. And we can't expect their reaction to be similar to Singhs coz Singhs know how these village families are...the Shekhars don't.Edited by -Palienigma- - 9 years ago

By this time anandi knows shekhars are not singhs. And so she should have been more careful.

yes anandi have already inform ira before going to child marriage and why ira did not inform alok that anandi is going to stop child marriage .may be anandi dont want to trouble ira alok but ira should have do something

Singhs live in rural area and know more about such things than Shakhers. If Shakhers knew about all this - they would have stopped Anandi - at least not allowed her to take Nandini there. Why compare Shakhers with Singhs? Singhs have their own flaws which are not in Shakhers. 

Even if we don't compare them Shekhars did feel it was risky to take the baby but why did they not go after her ?

these shekhar only to know to blame anandi but cannot support anandi strongly

Imagine Anandi being BH bahu and losing their granddaughter. Singhs would have been worse than Shakhers.
