My question is what happened to R&B to make him change his mind? I mean the last time we had some input to his thinking he was questioning everything including her? Was she interested in his money?..why did she lie to him?..was there an engagement? etc..

Then there was the ignoring and all followed up with the converstion on Delhi Metro where clearly he followed her. It ended up with her sending all the books back and trying to get a clean break..

He on the other hand was booking a ticket to go back to france forever, what happened in between that he goes to her house and proposes? I guess I am trying to understandin what happened that made him take a whole 180 turn about marriage in itself.

Did I miss something? Is there a part I did not read? So anyhow hope somoene can clarify this..But regardless love the banter, the conversation, the proposal, the conditions..everything..I guess i just get too invested in the characters I love and need to know their mindset..

Dads have a tough time letting go of their daughters. You have oddles of eloquance in your writing. In my previous post I had gone on defense when it was mentioned they Grey and R&B had some similarities. Also 50 shades author is no where close to your writing style, I guess I am repeating myself ( just like EL James)

Tough for Appa. He is in this secure comfort zone with Bala , which is what he would from II 's husband too. And at this moment, he does not see that in R&B . I feel for him.Its going to be a long winding road for Appa to travel.

Looks like Appa is going to be the lone opponent in all this. Loved Ammas rational approach, this was expected given how her character was sketched. Appa will come around, will just have to I guess, well R&B has not placed any option here, he has just stated ...

Would love to see a convo between II & Appa sometime later when things move the wedding way

i like amma...she is reasonable and logical...not prone to outbursts like appa...but then fathers have tough time letting their daughters go...i just loved R&B and amma discussion
..so smart... and appa tantrums...i also googled 5 carat ring...god it's huge...now wonder amma was shocked...

The fear of getting repetitive is there but still will say...nisha u r just awesome... brilliant writer...
