I don't think they have nominations for debut . They just pick a name out of a hat 😆 😆

I remember in 2012 they did have nominees. If they dont have nominees on a regular basis then I hope this means this is an announcement that Fawad has got it.

As much as I like Fawad I dont think he deserves to win for that role..he barely had any dialogues ..all he did was just some random strolling in the palace.

IMO Tahir Raj should get this one...Loved him in Mardaani!!

I was actually expecting Fawad to be awarded at Screen awards. They seem less nepotistic /influenced and actually seem to look more at work and less on BO results while rewarding. Last year they did not give best female debutant to Vaani kapoor unlike all award ceremonies but to some actress in Ship of Theseus. From what I know, FawadKhan got praised more for Khoobsurat than Tiger in Heropanti.

Fawad was very average in Khoobsurat.

Tahir deserves this award, the guy was amazing in Mardaani. Haven't watched Heropanti, so no idea. 😆

I'm sure before they give the award out they will air clips of all the debuting people . Fawad has as good as chance as anyone Id think
