I have to give it to AG again and again for such a positive feel in a television show after a long time. I mean every epi brings out something or the other which we all know but yet given a new perspective. And in yesterday epi it was the advice Shika Maa gave to Roshan.
Roshan was telling Anjali was very lucky to have got Aakash love. She got everything without asking. Shika Maa tells Roshan not to judge without knowing a person's story. Isnt it true. Every word of Shikaa Maa is true to the core. What is urs will come to you, if it doesn't come it was never yours.
She tells with example also. Though she gave birth to Gaurav currently she is having Aakash as her son, a boy who just happened to come to her due to certain turn of events. It was like God already knew he had to take Gaurav and he found a replacement for Shikaa Maa in Gaurav's absence so that she never feels Gaurav's absence.
Blessing come to us in various forms. But not many recognize it. Instead they always think about what they don't have than what they have. Shika Maa had the option of living a pitiful life after Gaurav's death. But instead of that she looked at what she had than what she lost. She looked at Aakash and he became her hope to live.
Look at Anjali. Roshan says she is lucky. But the girl is far from being lucky. Treated by her father as his greatest mistake Anjali carries a heavy burden in her heart. Her need to find acceptance in her dad's heart, her pain on Everest mission coming to a stop. She is def not the girl who has got everything just like Roshan thinks. Poor girl has been deprived of her father's love
With yesterday epi AG once again highlighted the of repeated words " Count your blessings". That will make you a more happier and complete person. Don't compare yourself with others, but only look at your past and present. Comapre what you were and what you are. Think how you can improve.
Thank you AG once again for the beauty that is Everest. I am really really enjoying the journey.

Awesome post!!
Nothing to add, because each episode is like a new learning and blooming perspective on life lessons..Interaction between Roshan and Shikha mas dialogues were absolutely real, unknown facts of unsuccessful dreams where each person holding on, you can judge or predict anyone's happiness or a misery until you reach them.. I loved how AG penned down with so many factors including day today's vision about success, failure, past and present pathways of life..!!

THe message was impeccable of course but its time Gowariker stop playing with multiple love angles. I don't know seeing a mature and qualified woman crying because another woman has taken away her friend didn't give me a good feeling.
Asani se mil jata hai ? really, that's what a psychiatrist thinks about life ?

@dey when you lose the person you love I always feel it is hard to take that. It doesn't matter who you are. It is equally bad for both men and woman. I wont blame Roshan because she just vent out her feelings and I guess she is doing it for the first time.
Problem is only your harbor your negative feelings and keep on ignoring the good things come to your way. One time outburst especially on a very emotional issue is always good to have especially with a person who is emphateic.
And I guess Shika Maa handled that outburst very well. Her attitude shows the difference between degree and experience. Roshan who gives other's tips to handle depression couldn't control herself whereas Shika Maa who might have not learned any lessons in psychiatry has knowledge that she has learned through her life.

Sorry Shruti, I may sound rude but her words and her action didn't match her education or her experience. She is not a teenager but a renowned psychiatrist.
Yes. Shikha is of course more sober and experienced but Roshan too is an experienced person. There are some professions where people just cannot burst like this. Not keeping calm is not an option.

She is blaming a person she doesn't even know. Why is she not happy that Anjali makes Aaksh forget his disease? As a doctor she should allow him to mingle with that person. No, here she is complaining. Prior to that we saw her pulling her patient back, making him cancel his course at NIM somehow. One of our forum members who is also a doctor commented that one can go through the course with Vertigo or Acrophobia. Besides, phobia of any kind needs self help and self confidence. Here the man was trying to do that but the doctor won't let him do. Wasn't that highly unprofessional of her to stop him ? Wasn't it unprofessional of her to demoralize her patient ? What she wanted that he kept coming for sessions all his life because she loved him?

Exactly dey. If Roshan loved Aakash truly first and foremost she wouldn't have told what she told. Because as you said she was wrong both as a friend as well as a doctor.
Every character AG has explored like that. All their actions are connected to results. It is not the action that is concentrated but the result each one of them wants.
For her own selfishness of keeping or seeing Aakash Roshan is not realizing she has become unprofessional.

I found this Roshan angle totally irrelevant in the plot, but loved the scene.

I understand she loved aakash and her outburst to shikhaa was also okay.. Coming from the pov of a girl with an unrequited love, not from a psychiayrist. Love is a basic emotion and it is not governed by education, profession or such things. And she wasnt blaming Anjali..I felt she just expressed her disappointment and frustration of not being able to become that special girl in his life.. It sounded more like a regret to me.

This part is just a filler and I hope the cvs close this chapter here..and start the actual business of climbing ..please!!

@Bright-Star I wouldn't say it is a filler. Actually if you look both Reena and Roshan are 2 girls who has not got the man they love. Reena was ditched by Arjun and still he is not commitment ready.
Roshan never expressed her feeling to Aakash and thinks once you get the man you love that is the luckiest thing to have in life.
Look at Anjali. She has a supportive fiance and a man in Aakash who loves her. But is she happy. Answer is no. She wants something else. So the thing is contentment. There are many girls like Roshan who thinks just because a person got the guy she loves everything is fine for them. It may not be true.
If you see the 2 characters of Everest who are content with their life are Shika Maa and Chand. We don't see them sulking. They accept and take life for what it has to offer.

I agree with Bright star. This part is just a filler.
I know the idea is to explore different human emotions but the end of the day Gowariker promised me to show the real journey of Everest expedition , he promised me to show a girl's journey to achieve something which is impossible to others. Roshan's story doesn't fit the bill and therefore even if the scene was great its still a filler only.

Considering she is an educated and qualified person I stick to my words. Education shines bright against our character. It teaches us how to tackle different situations and that actually is the whole purpose of education. I won't take Roshan's outburst as an ordinary girl's failure in love because her subject typically deals with human psychology and behavior. There is no standard unit for love. You just fall in love. She thinks some people achieve things easily but is she that young that she doesn't understand there is no perfect way of making people fall for you ? You may be the most beautiful person and the most deserving person on Earth and yet the person you like may fall for someone else. I expect acceptance from such an experienced woman.

I understand she is upset but that much was just too much of her. No one had hurt her, no one had cheat her and no one had ditched her then why such statement ? Just imagine she has a case of depression next day where she gets the deal the same situation. Will she advise her patient that only lucky people get what they want and you are not lucky enough ?

Madam doctor is also concerned with Akash- Anjali relationship but neither as a doctor nor as a friend did she ask how he was doing with the problems he has. In fact she thinks Anjali is lucky to have Akash but what about Akash ? Isn't he lucky to have Anjali who can make him forget his past.

Outburst is okay but its the way that doesn't suit her at all.
