Geet woke up with the bright sunlight showering her and the first thing she felt was acute pain in her neck and back …she winced realizing she slept on the window bench …cursing her stupidity she sat straight remembering the whole night all over again…already regretting it to be a weekday …

Dadi maa: Bete he is busy in the study ..aap breakfast finish kijeye or you’ll get late for your class ..

Prem had already left & aniee left soon after finishing with her toast while dadi maa sat worried when nakul arrived to clear the table ..

Dadi Maa: nakul Maan …gym se bahar aaye ?

The old lady sighed a breath of relief…

Aap unki black coffee banayi …hum lekar jayenge …

A few minutes after she walked in maan’s room only to see him getting ready for office …she stood at the door step trying to decipher …from the outlook he appeared completely normal ..like usual but for a person who knew that he has spent the last few hours in the gym breaking the cold ice blocks and hard wooden planks …hurting himself relentlessly …this was every bit worrisome

Maan entered his cabin and the emptiness hit him with full force …the first thing he noticed was her empty seat across the glass …absence of his steaming coffee on his table and the warmth she carried with her …last night was rough …he was filled with restlessness …god only knows how he locked himself in the gym venting just to stop himself from going at her home and making sure she hasn’t left him already and her absence from the office only heightened his paranoia …

he was pacing left right when Anushka entered the cabin with a note pad and his appointment dairy in her hand ..and a bright smile ..

Dadi maa’s question cut right through her thoughts and she snapped out of it ..

Maan walked away listening to the news ..partially in shock …partially angry …wondering if that’s what fernandes got to know …of course rohan is always shadowing geet he may have heard something and informed fernandes because of which he lectured her …but how can she …!! Then a voice from the back of his mind mocked him …why can’t she !! and that when his phone buzzed with an incoming call from rohan ..

Sir fernandes asked me to update you on geet ma’am’s whereabouts

And he disconnected the call without even listening to ronit …

Maan walked in KM earlier in the evening completely frustrated ..the whole day was a crap …he was still contemplating calling geet but he just couldn’t press the dial button …

Lost in his thought she was walking past the corridor when he heard the melodious sound …and his heart picked a beat …his steps took him to the source in the lawn where he stood behind a pillar …seeing geet running around blind folded trying to catch prem and aniee while they were running away …her giggle that heart filled laughter when she caught prem in her embrace …after almost 18 hours he breathed normally …he felt his heart beat in his ear …and the smile that spread across his face just by seeing her from afar …the day just got amazing …he stood the read miring the trio …his eyes fixated on the angel filling his house ..his life…with the warmth of her love, affection and innocence …her mere presence is enough to fill him with life …hope and happiness..

While he was standing there lost… unconscious to his surrounding…time and the entire world… dadi maa came from behind ..

Subha jaise din start hua tha …humien laga nahi tha ke aapke face pe yeh smile hum aaj dekhenge ..

Maan snapped out of his trance and turned to see the teasing expression on his grandmother face…embarrassed he looked away ..

Dadi maa aap …wohh…mujhe kya hua tha …mien tu bilkul theek hoon

Really maan bete …tabhi aap raat se subha tk gym mien thay aur geet ka mood theek hone mien subha se shaam hugayi ..
