He was the only director to shoot filims in black and white in late 70's when everyone was shooting in color, because he didn't want to lose the flavor of his movies.

RIP sir. 😭 we will miss you.

Yes the great stalwart who brought to the forefront great actors.

May his soul RIP.

Also the great gritty voiced singer Joe Cocker breathed his last today. May he too RIP.

He is the one of the very few directors, whose work I always admired.

The way he empowers women in his movies is something which I truly respect.

And, 'Thillu Mullu' is my all time favorite movie.

May his soul RIP.
