Disappointed in Star Plus

My family, until end of last year, usually watched Sony and Colors. However, nearing the end of last year, we got interested into a few shows on Star Plus such as Meri Bhabhi, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Diya Aur Bati Hum etc. Soon, Star Plus became the channel we mostly watched. However, recently they have ruined everything. Ek Hasina Thi, easily the best show on Indian television right now (apart from maybe Bigg Boss) was forced to end. It was the main show which provided some variety to the channel, one which they couldn't apparently bear. Prior to this ending, they ruined DIya Aur Bati Hum and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. So now there is no actual good show on Star Plus anymore.

Completely agree with you! Well said 👍🏼 That's the reason why currently I am not watching any Star Plus shows. My parents watch it though, so unfortunately, I tolerate it from the background. I agree with you regarding YHM being an overrated show (no offence intended), but man, I used to love YHM, because it showed a strong woman (Ishita), but now the show has gone all down hill, really sickening to watch. But even my parents agree that Star Plus is not as good as before, and the fact that Star Plus have ruined many shows, just for their desire for TRP's. I am still perplexed about why Star Plus had pulled the plug for EHT. Perhaps the reason was because EHT was not Star Plus's very fond saga - saas bahu lovey dovey between Jodi's drama! To surmise, Star Plus is just the number 1 pathetic, biased saas- bahu- holic overvalued channel!!

What I simply don't understand is why SP have a lot of future projects/shows ready or start thinking about it when they have some decent shows on air already which need time to end and then make up an excuse saying EHT a or whatever the show is has low trps. EHT was slot leader and in uk the NUMBER 1 show a lot of times across all GECS. Sns, dabh may be highly popular shows in india but have been on air for years and am sure the message or story in both shows could've been finished long before.

I was a person who had rarely watch any TV series. Though I surf through all channels no show had attracted me except things like Crime Patrol , KBC or Master Chef Austraila as I couldn't connect with any TV show

mahabharat was the first show i watched in years on star followed by yhm then eht and now everest. i am already on the verge of quitting yhm.

Star Plus disappointed me ...After Ek Hasina Thi I don't have anything to watch on Star Plus...
