Was Abhimanyu really Arjun's favorite son? I do't think so. A husban can do partiality among his wives, but a father can't do that, then how people could think than he was hist most favorite son?

I think that Arjuna loved all his sons dearly. My belief is that abhimanyu is considered as his favourite son because he is nephew of krishna . 😊 ved vysa's mahabharat expressed it in that way but people can interpret it in numerous ways .

Nothing is stated clearly in the epic. People just interpret it so because of his reaction towards Abhimanyu's death. When the upapandavas were killed Arjuna's reaction was not so severe even though they were killed in their sleep. Among all his sons Abhimanyu was the most similar to Arjuna and as Bella02pie said he was Krishna's nephew and had been raised by Krishna so may be Arjuna favored Abhimanyu more.
