I talked to Dee once and main thing what Manik feels is curiosity. There is this thirst...of knowing everything about her. This will continue till the time he doesn't know her in and out.

Initially there was this phase of getting to know her and challenging her, pushing her limits...coz he wanted to know how much could she take. Remember the scene in which he says "Thaki ho ya nahin?" and she doesn't give in the very first time. He keeps asking her till the time she says "YES!" This is him...questioning her, asking her, taunting her to know how much she can take and how much she is ready to give.

Abhimanyu will make him jelly coz he will be associated with her and he would want to know how their equation function...not that he is scared that this guy will take my girl.

Oh oh oh, this made me realize. The reason Nandu gave about their separation was that they "only give each others tears". And it's true as well. Manik has seen and knows the way Nandini cries. She said it today, "these tears would not stop.." It's a major hint for Manik to realize what's wrong with them. Doubt that Manik would forget these words.

Now add Abhi to the equation. All sunshine and happiness. If he really becomes the friend for Nandini I want him to be, chances are Nandini will be happy. Just imagine, Manik witnessing a scene where Nandini laughs because Abhi made him do so. His jealousy wouldn't be just jealousy, it'd be mad anger ke how is she laughing like that with him and not me?! Manik always wanted to be the only person for Nandini, for her tears and for her laughs. Ab he'll see her laughing not because of him but because of someone else...this might make him realize the things that Nandini told him the first time around, to consider her as well.

@CC - Exactly, I get her fears and insecurity about them because they are all so raw and it's harsh what happened to her. She went through his words, the heart-break and questioning everything they shared. To top it all, there was no space or her to breathe . He was all over her which hurt more. She couldn't hate him too for what he did. it was toxic what went between them till he got to know about the sacrifice and that is where she felt to him she is not worthy enough to fight or face his friend.
