We don't meet people by accident, they tend to cross our paths for a reason.
"Bro, you okay?" Rey asked as he drove his SUV, all the way to Dehradun.
Karan looked at him and cleared his throat, he glanced at back seat where Priya was sound asleep, turning back to Reyaansh he cleared his throat again. "Ofcourse I am fine! Muje kya hua hai?"
"Ridhima Bhabi se jagda" Rey said as a matter of fact.
Karan narrowed his eyes at him, "No." he dismissed immediately only to earn a chuckle from Rey. "Bro, its written on your face, in bold letters!"
Karan made a face at him and glanced out to view the beauty of the nature they were passing by.
"You would never leave her alone and come home. So tell me iss baar kis cheez ke upar ladayi ki?"
Karan sighed, There was no point in hiding, Rey had pointed out everything that he wasn't telling, so what would it cost if he said the reason right?
"I told her we will visit you first, she wanted to visit her mom first and then it went on and on and it ended up with, us catching different flights to India." He finished as if it was some reason that would cause World war III.
Rey stared at him in disbelief, "Bas itna hi?"
Karan's eye bulged, how can he ask that? It was such a crucial matter!! Wasn't it?

"Seriously? That's all?" Kria asked Ridhima as they were sitting in the dining hall. Ridhima was busy chopping the vegetable while Kria was sitting upon the table and munching on some carrots.
Ridhima glared at her, "That's all? Kria it was so important! How could he do this to me tell me!!" Ridhima demanded.
"I don't know. And I don't find it as a reason to fight at all. I mean c'mon Di, just like you wanted to visit us, he wanted to visit Priya Aunty, its as simple as that!"
Ridhima made a O shape with her lips and she pointed the knife in her hand at kria's direction, "Its Not SO simple! How can he not listen to me? Atleast, he could have said politely like, See Ridhima, lets first visit Priya Ma and then go to see Smriti Ma' but No! he had to order it like a typical MCP! He cant order me around. I wont let him!"
Kria stared at her Di, long and hard. "Are all married couples like this?" Kria asked her with a gulp.
Ridhima withdrew her knife and stared back at her bewildered.
"If that's the case muje shaadi hi nahi karni!" Kria announced jumping down from the table. Smrithi who had just come out kitchen stood there shocked.
"What did you just say?" Smriti asked as if someone had just dropped a bomb on her head. Two heads turned around in her direction.

"Mom! Weren't you sleeping? Were you eavesdropping?" Rey glared at his mother who had suddenly interrupted their conversation.
C'mon if Rey has to end up like Karan who was going all Madman just for such silly reason, then Rey wouldn't ever want to get married. Seriously!
"Ma.. Why.. er why are you taking tension!? Rey.. Rey was just joking!" Karan glared at rey asking to him agree to whatever Karan was saying. Rey gave him a tough look and both had some eye-to-eye-battle' which ofcourse Karan won!
"Huh! Fine. I was just joking mom!" Rey drawled. Priya nodded, "You better be. Now concentrate on the read and lets reach Dehradun as fast possible."

"Ma..! Aaap? When.. when did you come?" Ridhima stood up startled. She immediately took the bowl of chopped vegetables in her hand and went to Smriti.
"Ma.. don't listen to Kria.. she was just joking.." Ridhima tried to patch her blunder.
"What? No. I wasn't joking. Shaadi karke muje iss janjat mein nahi phasna. I am happy as I am." Saying so kria ran upstairs to her bedroom.
Smriti hit her head. "God! Kya karu is ladki ka?"
"I will handle mom. Relax. She was just kidding around trust me"
Smriti smiled at her with a nod.

"So Madam won't get married haan?" Ridhima tickled Kria and plopped on the bed lying next to her. Kria was busy reading her favorite novel, Macbeth.
"Kria! You know what, you should read these.." Ridhima handed her a small pack of books. Kria ripped off the wrapper to find a collection of Mills & Boon novels in her hand. "DI!!!" she whined. Kria tried to grab back her Macbeth but Ridhima was very adamant.
"Read that no. its really good." Ridhima suggested.
"No! they are yuck. They are cheesy and boring. This is best! Now gimme back my book!"
"Kria! Won't you listen to your elder sister?"
When Ridhima narrowed her eyes at kria, Kria huffed and puffed. "Fine! Don't give. I will get some other book from the shelf! You can keep that to yourself all you want!"
Showing her tongue Kria climbed down from bed only to be pulled back with a force by Ridhima "Uffo! Accha chodo yeh sab. Temme how have you been?"
"I am really good di. But I missed you a lot!"
"me too sweety. Btw kria, have you ever met um.. um.."
"Met whom di?"
"Priya Ma's.. I mean.."
"What about Priya aunty? I saw her few times when she had been to our house."
"Array not her silly.. I was asking.. have you met.."
This time when ridhima tried to speak, door bell rang interrupting all her attempts to ask kria about Priya Ma's only son- Reyaansh.
Ridhima sighed and tried again only to be interrupted by door bell, yet again.
The door bell kept ringing irritating both Kria and Ridhima.
They got up in haste all set to give the intruder the pieces of their mind. They strode over the living room passing by Smriti who too had come out of kitchen urgently hearing door bell ring continuously.
"Who is that manner-less idiots?" Kria growled at Ridhima as they went to fetch the door.
"I have no idea but whoever it is, I am gonna KILL them!"
As the Ridhima and Kria opened the door, they stood their dumbfound facing the two men. Kria stared at Rey as the memory of their previous encounter rushed to her mind. While Ridhima and Karan had their eyes locked at each other. Apart from all the fights and chaos, they had missed each other.
The shocked faces continued to stare until Priya and Smriti came around trying to peep what was taking so much time.
"Tum?" "Tum?"
Both Ridhima and Kria said to Karan and reyaansh respectively.
Priya wiggled her way between the two muscular men and got inside the house passing kria and ridhima. Smriti and priya greeted each other and stared at their children.
"You two know each other?" Priya asked Rey and Kria. Karan and Ridhima broke their eye lock and stared at the other two who was still surprised or shocked to see each other.
"I.. NO!"
"Yes.. I.."
Kria and Reyaansh said simultaneously.
Confused at their children's behavior Priya came ahead to introduce the two.
"Reyaansh, Meet Kria, Smriti's daughter. And Kria, meet Reyaansh, my only son!"
Both stared at each other long and hard until Smriti tugged kria away scolding her something about manners and how to treat guests.
