I will not hide my love for Sushmita Mekherjee's acting skills. I love her as Subhadra Devi.

The way she smirks, smiles, laughs and talks to herself and her conscience is simple amazing. Her hatred for Anandi is well known and she will go to any extent to pull down Anandi. Her facial expression are very natural and reflective of what she is thinking, planning and plotting. Although, now days her role is not as big as it used to be earlier, but her funny onliners can tickle a funny bone. Her trademark words 'O Ram' can often be heard. She doesn't care for anyone expect for her grandson and little bit for her Bhaiya.

Most importantly all thanks to her character other characters in Shekhar family are coming to life.They all are becoming likeable when they are fighting this DB.

Unfortunately the story right now seems to be stuck where iit is.If her character carries Anandi's story forward from being a patni bahu bhabhi and mother to something more like a social worker and leader and helping people of Udaipur then it will be even better.
