Thamarai Episode 1

Intro of Ragavan's family - Family head Ragavan and his wife Shyamala, elder son Raju, elder daughter Meena, younger son Dwarakesh and younger daughter Priya

All getting ready for ponnu parkara ceremony for Meena. Ragavan asks if everyone is ready. Dwarakesh comes back from the shop and Raju back from his office. Groom's family comes and they bring down Meena. Ragavan talks about his children's studies and professions. All agree for the wedding.

Raju is confused why Meena's father-in-law is calling him mappilai and mappilai's sister is smiling at him continuously.

Ragavan hesitates at first but later says they have made arrangements for Meena to marry the groom Kadhir while Raju marries Kadhir's sister Neelambari. Raju is stunned.

At the beach Raju's lover Uma waits for him. Raju tells Uma of Meena's marriage proposal.

Uma is happy and excited, thinking Raju is going to tell his father that they have been in love for 5 years. Raju tells Uma about Neelambari. Uma is shocked and starts walking into the sea.

Uma accuses Raju of cheating her. She says her father gave Raju a good job and the bungalow Raju's family is living in. She says they all think of him as her husband. Raju tries to explain.

Uma holds Raju's hand and tells that they are going to her father to solve this once and for all. Raju protests.

Thank you so much for the updates.

The story sounds old. Nothing new I feel.

I hate this kind of Son, who is not bold enough to let his family know about his love, just like our Sara😡 & also hate this kind of father 😡 who takes all decision about their kids without even letting them know 😡

I too feel the story is moving rather slowly 😭

Today:

Raju and Uma go to Uma's dad who forces him to get ready for their wedding..Uma feels her dad was too harsh. Raju tells his family about Uma, Ragavan is adamant that they want Raju as a groom for Neelambari. Meena has a mini-Oppari and accepts her fate that she might not marry Kadhir because of Raju.

Third episode was full of opparis

- Raju says he loves Uma and begs his father to accept her but he refuses, saying he will never prosper.

-Mother says she will fall on the feet of Uma's dad if possible.

-Sister has an Oppari and tells Raju not to worry about her and to choose his life.

-Friend blames him and says he should have told love matter earlier

-Raju tries to leave in the middle of e night with a teary goodbye but the family wakes up at Uma's car horn.

-Uma arrives in front of their house and demands rudely to hurry up at Raju.

-Father disowns him, mothers and sisters have a Round Kattu Oppari when Raju leaves.

-Sister throws Nichaya Thamboolam plate into the air, sending all the fruits flying and cries her heart out.

Four years later shown...

Neelima's character Sneha introduced... She has a fight with VR Shiva on the road for offending her friend. Public joins in the fight and give left and right to Siva (not sure of his character name)

Sneha lives alone with her athai Rajalakshmi (Nirosha) and plans a surprise birthday party for her 😃

Next day officers come looking for Sneha as she beat up a VIP (Siva) - and bring her to the station. Rajalakshmi panics.. Sneha argues with the officers and stop them from slapping her, saying it was not her fault. She asks Rajalakshmi to call her office MD to help them.

Meanwhile Uma and Raju have a daughter. One day coincidentially Uma and her mother in law Shyamala go to the same temple. Shyamala overhears Uma praying that her husband must belong to her alone. Uma opens her eyes and sees Shyamala's daughter Meena and morachufies at her...

Ragavan retires and his second son Dwarakesh works as an auto driver.

One day while shopping for vegetables Shyamala spots Raju and is so happy 😊
