She should definitely care for them. But she's a part of Mughal family too. Jalal wanted to take revenge of his kid's death so he wanted to kill innocent people. Jalal & Jodha both could have used enemies & innocent people respectively in place of Rajvanshis. Because Jalal has truly accepted the Rajvanshi as a part of his family & Jodha has accepted the Mughal as her family. So it doesn't look good that after HH's death he wants to kill Rajvanshi. HH me bhi toh Rajvanshi khoon tha na. And Jodha supported the Mughals in the war with Rewa or Panna. It's the inconsistency of the CVs & dialogue writers. Today when Jalal said no Rajvanshi should be spared, I thought Jodha's was right. The problem is that they should have shown Jalal's intention to kill Rajvanshi earlier & then Jodha's concern for her community. It would look justified.

I fact chittor fort doesn't even remotely look like that, chittor fort is much wider, it's almost a city , and has long running outer walls something like wall of china, stupid cvs

The most jarring thing in all this is Jalal has gone from a monster to saint and then again a monster. In real life Akbar slowly grew out of his violent phase as he embraced spirituality, he never bobbed in an out of it like this 'natkiya rupantar'.

The siege and destruction of Chittor is a very sensitive subject well beyond the capabilities of this pathetic bunch of CV's.

In those times, such wanton destruction was deemed necessary to give a message to others resisting. Every medieval and early king, has a massacre or two to their names. Alexander the Great, razed entire cities to cower the Persians into submission. We all know of Asoka.

The treatment of this is very complex, that is why most histories try to leave it alone. If you are brave enough to attempt a well researched depiction, it becomes compelling to watch. Not so in our case, that was pathetic. It should have been avoided because I can't understand what purpose it served. Turning your hero into a blood thirsty fiend, does that make sense.

Donjas chittor is a very sensitive issue ...and EK should have shown it as voice over and never ever have linked it to H and H's death...This is where EK went completely wrong...On the top of it Ruku goes scotfree...

Exactly!!...do they take the audience to be fools...or do they simply judge others by their own standards,,...which is ofcourse rockbottom...!!
