Very well written Ela...the chittor massacre is reality...its a historical fact...it is something that Akbar did..period.
Chittor massacre cannot be rationalised or justified...and it definitely cannot be justified by linking it to the death of the twins...infact it had nothing to do with the death of the twins...it should have been handled with great sensitivity...
At least the real Akbar was man enough not to blame harka bai for the death of the twins...and nor did he distance himself from her post their death...
This jalal is so weak and such a pathetic excuse of a man that he uses the woman he loves as a convenient scapegoat to blame and to lash out at in order to facilitate his own healing...where is the father in jalal...who should by now have finished ruk for her evil plotting and planning that led to the separation of a mother and child and culminated in the death of his children...where is the man in jalal that he cannot be his beloved's shield when she is defenceless in grief...it is of great consolation to me that despite chittor and ranthambore (which cannot be rationalised from any angle)...the real akbar was with harka during their personal tragedies...that he did not blame her for any of them...that he did not distance himself from her when she needed him the most...that he upheld the dignity of his wife and muz...
