Wild goose chase🤣 I do feel something may happen, you're right about the repeptive dialogues of Ajju's death. Loved your take on symbolism of the swan and the goose Rekha👏
In the 03-OCT-2014 episode, Ankush threatens Kalindi that he will go to his dear sister, Aastha, give her that gift and reveal everything about their relationship. Kalindi follows him to Aastha's room, where he is staying, in order to stop him from doing any such thing, that will cause problems in her daughter's life. There was a collage of Aastha's pictures from her childhood behind Ankush in this scene, as if showing the difference between the two.During their conversation, there was a Swan-like figurine behind Kalindi, but Ankush said that Kalindi is giving him "goose bumps". Then it occured to me that the figurine might be a reference to the "Goose" and not the "Swan". Or may be it is about the difference between the Swan and the Goose. A pair of Swans is usually shown to symbolize the pure love between Aastha and Shlok. Swan is associated both with Sun and Moon and it is considered both a masculine and a feminine symbol. Goose is associated with the Sun in many cultures, probably because it follows the Sun. The name Prabhakar, means Sun. Though both Swan and Goose are associated with the Sun and both are very similar on the first look, the Goose is not considered a positive symbol like the Swan.Like any bird, a Goose's ability to fly represents freedom, the desire to be free of any restrictions or any bonds.Goose is a migratory bird. Migration represents dissatisfaction and detachment. The migration is long and extremely difficult but the goose won't give up until it reaches the destination. Hence goose is a symbol of perseverance. What matters here is the type of goals one sets for himself.Goose is aggressive and very territorial. Hence it is symbolic of war. Swan is also territorial, but when there is a showdown between a Swan and a Goose, Swan always wins.Goose and its loud cackles, mean a person who indulges in evil/stupid gossip. Swans are not noisy.Geese always fly in flocks. There is a saying, "birds of same feather flock together", which is not used in a positive sense.Ankush repeatedly talks about Ajju's death, which gives me a bad vibe about him. He will cause much graver damage than talking rudely to people and irritating them. Kalindi was determined to change Ankush in this scene. Her intentions might be pure, of motherly love and responsibility, towards Ankush. But the empty vases and empty gift he gave Kalindi, speak of hopelessness. Is Kalindi embarking on a "wild goose chase"?!🤣----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nice post Rekha.
so you feel that Ankush is upto no good and that he will end up harming K's and AAstha's grihasti too. Have noticed that he is obssessed with ajju's long life and her death, so maybe the death of something that is long held and old... like his prejudices against his maate and thinking his dad Prabhakar Joshi was right all along... raising him to be the way he is now...
