Lot of respect to Arjun for being honest about how he got his first YRF film. Humble guy. 👏

TFS. That was a good interview. Best part was him saying 'I've talked more with you in this convo than I've ever talked to Sridevi in my life' when the host said there are articles that she encourages you and blah blah. I also liked it when he explained how the younger stars are not yet 'stars' really, that was true, right now they are all replaceable it is the films which are making them successful rather than the other way round.

The part where he says that he bonded properly with his father for the first time during the shoot of Tevar made me feel bad for him.

^ I honestly think had Arjun not become an actor and prove himself, Boney wouldn't have changed anything about their relationship. I don't think "their closeness" has anything to do with Mona's death but more to do with the fact that he can't ignore him anymore, he become someone. I love that he was so honest about his relationship with Sri, he doesn't pretend that they are anything more than cordial with each other. You can't help but root for this guy, there is something sincere about him, and unlike a lot of other star kids I feel like he earned to be where he is...

...can't watch right now, so how did he get the film if Habib and Adi wanted Ranveer? 😕
They didn't give the film to Anushka because Habib didn't like her.

Adi told him to work hard and he did workshop with Habib for months. Says he did every character in the moving including Zoya and the gun seller. So Habib got convinced eventually.

Adi was initially unsure when Shanoo said they should sign Arjun! Shanoo convinced Adi after showing him his audition+photoshoots..then Adi wanted him to do Ishaqzaade! But Habib was unsure..Arjun told Adi that if the director is unsure he doesn't want to do the film but Adi said I believe in you..then he did major workshops with Habib and Habib was finally happy

Ahh ok, well I'm glad Arjun finally did Ishaqzaade. I think he suited the role. ..probably best of all his other films I watched.

This is a guy who at first glance is not that appealing, but just grows on you through sheer work and how he presents himself. Like how he does not seem to take as his birthright that he belongs to the movies like a starkid, but worked at it. I never expected to like him, but he is certainly a fave now.

Also, look who is talking seems to let you get to know the person behind the personality more so than KJo and his awful show Niranjan does such a good job of bringing personal stuff out of them and the locales are really non stuffy and relaxed. I would love him to interview SRK, Salman Aamir, Hrithik, Ajay, Akki and the big guns who KJo just sort of wasted. Ranbir and Ranveer too..
